EDIT: I've done some research and still have the question, although its a little different now.

I'm interested in purchasing a copy of Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, but I noticed that it was never released on Blu-Ray in the United States. It was in the UK (as well as several other European countries) but I can't import that because European Blu-Ray's are region-coded to only work with Region B players. American players work with Region A Blu-Rays. So does Japan. So my thought process switched to importing a Japanese copy of the Blu-Ray (assuming it also has an english voice track). However, I've looked online at play asia and amazon.jp and I've only been able to find DVD versions of the film. I can't find any record of a Blu-Ray release in Japan.

Does anyone know if there even was a Blu-Ray release in Japan? I would think there would be considering it's where the film was produced. Or was it only released in Europe for some reason? If you know that it was released in Japan, could you point me to where I could buy a copy? Thanks.

The Layton wiki talks about the UK Blu-Ray release (Region B) but I couldn't find anything about a Japanese Blu-Ray release. Could you point me in the right direction?
