So apparently, the baseball team Tokyo Yakult Swallows' "Chance Theme 3" (special songs sung when the team has a good chance of scoring) is Gyakuten Kenji 2's Investigation ~ Wanting To Find The Truth. Ever heard so many people shout to this song? >_>

(Contrary to what many believe, AAI's themes aren't called Pursuit (追及), like in the main series. They're called Investigation/Inquiry (追究). It's pronounced the same, but they have different meanings. Not sure why people always mix them up though)

I can't hear what people are shouting as lyrics... (I had to check description) but this is pretty amazing. Guess even Miles Edgeworth is a sponsor of the Swallows. Say, are some of the Capcom staff fans of baseball too? I feel like it's one of those things that show up regularly in spinoff material like light novels, mystery quizzes, and one of the latest audio dramas.

I'm sure the reason we fans in the West prefer keeping their titles as "Pursuit" because it's much more recognizable than using "Investigation", which could get mixed up with the actual investigation part themes. Besides, the "pursuit of truth" is kind of a style of investigation in a way.

Well, baseball is the national sport in Japan, similar to basketball/American footbal in the US and 'let's actually use our feet' football in most of Europe/South-America, so I'm going to assume there are fans of the sport in Capcom.
