Can someone PLEASE tell me what that squeaking-ish sound in the California Court Begins theme is?! I NEED to know, it's been nagging me since I first started playing!

So after listening more to the music of SoJ, I have to say this is one of the most solid OSTs in the series. I think it ties with the original and only AJ surpasses it. We should keep this multiple composers thing. |

I've never been much of a fan of AJ's music. Just don't look how... warm it sounds, if that makes sense. The timbre just doesn't suit me |

Squeaking-ish sound? You mean... the violin? It's a bit sharp, but I wouldn't call it squeaky. ...But I don't know what else you'd be referring to |

@Nuro I think the word you're looking for is trance. The cross examination theme,the perceive,the investigation,hell,even the backdrops are specifically coloured to invoke a trancey feeling. |

I dunno... I actually like trance. I also don't mind the actual genre of the music, since there are some really good tunes. It's specifically the timbre that's bothering me |

Yeah, that's definitely the violin. Maybe on a low-quality encode or low-quality speakers/headphones it may sound a bit more squeaky? It's definitely no normal violin sound, though! |

Would 3DS speakers/WiiU speakers/iPad mini speakers count as low quality? These were the sources I heard the "squeaking" violin through.

Why's nobody talking about the courtroom lounge theme? (The Japanifornia one, not the Khura'in one) It has 305 plays on my Google Play music library, and I only added it two months ago. Am I weird for listening to one song so often or is it just that good of a piece? |
