Badd has a dog.
...
...
...I guess there's no way around the fact that since the dream specified the dog was female, you might say it's a Badd bitch.

Of course Badd has a Badd bitch. xD

I'm playing through I2-3 currently and Delicia calls Badd a boy. So he's a Badd Boy Bitch?

Author:  Going for Miles [ Thu Jan 18, 2018 10:57 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Ever have Phoenix Wright-related dreams? *possible spoil

Wouldn't that just make him a Badd boy? He is to my knowledge not a female dog.

On the other hand, neither is Nahyuta and I call him a bitch all the time. If I had him in my phonebook I would label him "Nahyuta", but he really is a bitch.

So that would make the dog a Badd Boy's Bitch. Close enough, right?

I agree about Yuty too.

Yeah... this is sounding more and more unsavoury xD I think I'll stick to calling her Tyrell's dog from now on.

Fair enough :p I bet he'd name the dog after Kay though. Or Cece, depending.

Post subject:  Re: Ever have Phoenix Wright-related dreams? *possible spoil

That would be sweet. If so I suppose it'd make her a kaynine.

New headcanon: She and Missile are besties. They frequently saw each other in the K-9 Unit at the PD.

Some virtual reality-version of GK2 which was connected to the real world. I was out for a walk and saw John Marsh several times.

Geez, I saw him too recently in my GK2 playthrough. Dream telepathy strikes again!

It could also be because I saw him in my playthrough, but... dream telepathy does make more sense :D

Really though, a piece of golden confetti I had in my jacket pocket has gotten into my Phoenix Wright-wallet. I really feel that should bring me some good AA-dreams.

Ack. I just remembered I had one other dream I forgot to mention! This will make up for another lacking day.

So I was hanging out with a friend, strolling around a city, when we came upon a dragon-themed amusement park. All the rides had something to do with dragons of various sorts, and for some reason they even had a fancy temple with a golden oriental dragon statue. But it turned out that was a ride too.
For some reason, despite it being close to closing time, there were still so many people. Also, for some reason, when I tried paying for my ticket at the entrance, I realized I had a blue credit card I didn't recognize. It read on the top: "Poehnix rWight" [sic].
Then I "remembered" that this card had an absurd amount of credit available: 35 million dollars. Yeah, I kinda got scared that I had somehow acquired something in some illegal deal and I would be pursued by authorities... or worse, yakuza. Naturally, I didn't use it to pay... but I strangely "recalled" that I had to transfer some of that money to another bank account, and if all was successful, I'd get a share of the payout.
Fortunately, I wasn't caught... but I think I didn't get a chance to complete the transfer. Maybe it's for the best.

...Those dreams from before where I was detained in detention now make sense.

So did I. And then I remembered for real that Tigre is classic loan shark yakuza in the JP version. He even has the rough 'n' tough kind of Kansai dialect, which is signature to the stereotypical yakuza image. It was localized in English as a New Jersey accent, I think?

So, yeah. Now Tigre be selling fake credit cards too, it seems. Good thing Phoenix became "Like a Dragon" and beat him at his own game, yeah?

It was Brooklyn, I'm pretty sure. Kinda funny how yakuza's being brought up even out of the titular series though.

Tender Credit Card Faker just doesn't have the same ring to it, though

U-huh. I'm surprised Tigre's cards are actually working and not just arts and crafts again.

Yo, what the heck? I was just checking the birthdays before I went to sleep but it's our very own GfM's birthday! Happy 23rd, my friend (even if it hasn't quite struck midnight where you are)!

Well, I'm sure it is the day by the time I'm posting. Happy birthday, GfM!

I swear I had something AA-related again. Gosh, was it a promotion video of something? The art style was different, though, and the animation reminded me a little of the opening to Baccano. (I really like that theme.)

:D
I like Dogen!

---
There was some tv series where a guy was trying to inspire young people to... I don't know, something, it was the guy who plays Jeff on Community, and at one point he wore an Apollo-suit (but with the tie untied just hanging over his shoulders, which annoyed me because Apollo would never be that sloppy) and a black fake moustasche. He did the point and said "Objection" along with some other stuff.

I wrote somewhere about how Phoenix may seem very different at different points throughout the series, because he is an overall changeable person and a lot of it depends on from whose perspective the player gets to see him from - his own, or Mia's (who, in the case where she's the player's perspective, sees Phoenix as a gullible and immature idiot), or AJ-Apollo's (his former idol who has fallen from grace and is being very vague and suspicious-acting), or DD+SoJ-Apollo's+Athena's (their reliable boss, and once again someone Apollo looks up to). So that his different portrayals is part because Phoenix behaves differently in different settings consistently as a character, part because of different perspectives (and that the different narrators might even be not exactly unreliable narrators, but exagerrating his traits due to what impression he gives).
But most importantly, at his very core Phoenix will always be the same. The differences are mostly superficial.
And that the attempts to make him an "only sane man"-character and relatable to the players went a little too far when he went back to being a player character in DD so that he'd come off as bland at times, but SoJ improved that somewhat.
Hmm. I kinda have to agree with my dream-self, it made some good points :sahwit:

Yeah, I kinda agree too. AJ Phoenix is really just the same guy, he's just acting all shady as a façade while he's his normal self inside, just as a measure to find out a way to deal with Kristoph. To...Kristop him. *ba-dum tssssh*

Read it as "I am Dogen". First you call me Dogen, then you claim to be Dogen yourself.
