I'm playing that at the moment as well (albeit the UK version - 'the Lost Future'). I haven't got to that bit yet, but now I'll know to keep an eye out for it!
I visited the bookstore in Chinatown before going to the assigned location, but then I had to go back to the bookstore afterward and she said something completely different due to a new event. I'm not sure if she still says the greeting if you don't visit the bookstore first. (Just in case you don't get the greeting.)

My Social Studies teacher in 12th grade looked a lot like Franziska, except with blonde hair. It was in a similar style, though.
