When playing PW/AJ, I find myself giving characters voices as I read what they say in my head. Did anyone else do this? XD And if so, what were your most interesting ones? For me, it went a bit like this..

:phoenix: - Protagonist, therefore my standard reading 'voice'.
:maya: - Pretty much the same..
:edgeworth: - Recieved pronunciation; perfect British XD
:karma: - Same as his objection, after I heard it..
:franny: - German accent, since coming from Germany. Her Objection really didn't suit the voice I read her in though..
:godot: - Same as his objection, but before I heard it :D Was very pleased to see Capcom made him sound as I imagined.
:eh?: - Sort of stereotypical American?
:grossburg: - Stuffy, moustachey kind of voice, like he's got something in his mouth.
:redd: - Overly confident plasticy American accent..
:pokeman: - Nasal, like Lois from Family Guy, or that operator from Hong Kong Phooey..
:lotta-smug: - REDNECK.
:jake: - ..what else could it be? XD
:wellington: - Stereotypical metrosexual voice.
:pizzahat: - Androgynous yet ditzy..
:pshhh: - Slightly floaty show-off loud voice.
:acro: - Deep, dark, masculine voice.. eheheh.
:mattphone: - Young American 'duuuude' kinda voice. Worked well after I had to alter it after you-know-what.
:shelly: - Verrrry, verrrry slowwww British voice. Took me ages to read his bits properly XD
:luke-side: - EXACTLY like Inspector Gadget. It just fits, to me..
:chef: - French accent, unsurprisingly. The text practically forced it on you.
:takita: - Jumpy, high pitched, erratic.
:minas: - When I saw the shamrock on her dress, I made her Irish. IRISH ALITA IS BEYOND AWESOME XD

:kyouya: I always read his voice as light and airy. Very showy, like any other European rockstar.
:garyuu: Calm, sensual and mysterious at least until...
:yogi: cliche senile old man voice
:keiko: like a robot
:haha: I gave him a tough guy voice. Like the guys from Grease.

:javado: I always hear an Antonio Banderez style voice with him XD
:karate: Definitely a New York/Jersey accent, y'know? *Or B-Rad from Malibu's Most Wanted* XD
:odoroki: The voice they used in the game was fine.
:mina: Minerva Mink from Animaniacs
:hotti: Herbert The Pervert from Family Guy
:jake: Typical cowboy voice

:yogi: - I never get through his lines very fast because I can only read him as the professor from Futurama.

:keiko: - Very monotone, but high-pitched. Like eveything she says is a recording

:zenitora: - Stereotypical "mob guy" voice, all the way

:adrian: - My normal reading voice works for her, so I just think of her like that

:wellington: and :redd: - I read both of these guys as Pegasus from Yugioh. That's the only way I can think of their voices.

:Brush-Sniff: - I always end up reading his lines like Iago from Aladdin

:cody-talk: - Sounds exactly like Ash Ketchum to me 8D

:shelly: - Sterotypical British butler <3

:garyuu: - I always read him as sounding a bit like Tim Gunn XD

:karma: - Exactly like the Objection.

Crap, now I'm always gonna think of his voice like that. xDD

:maggy: : I can imagine her having Wendy Lee's voice in Lucky Star, dunno why.
:uramidn: : A very slow, soft voice.
:damon: : Well, um... He reminds me of one of my Dad's relatives, so I'm cursed with the thought of him having a southern accent. O____O

:phoenix: A normal pitched Male voice. It's the only way I could think of describing it
:edgeworth: This guy keeps changing. One line, I make him growly, other times, I just make him sound snobby, on occasion, Crispin Freeman deep. Perhaps an Alan Rickman.
:maya: Kind of ditzy but when she's serious, kind of like the typical teenage female voice
:pearl: Typical scratchy kiddie voice
:franny: Forceful sounding, accented.
:godot: Like his Objection!
:adrian: I can't help but make her sound monotone
:payne: Wimpy sounding, kind of shaky
:garyuu: Like the English dub of Kyouya from Ouran
:uramidn: Whispery, and just quiet but you can hear her clearly vibe.
:maggy: An Upbeat teeange girl. Kind of like Mion from Higurashi
:meekins: Nasally, kind of like Rock Lee from Naruto
:chinami: When she's her sweet self, a high pitched sweetie sounding voice. Other times, Her voices kind of sounds like she's sneering
:hotti: Forgot which cartoon it was but sounds like a drunk and 'Hyuk hyuk'
:mia: Like Cameron from House
:lana: Detached, and kind of dead feeling
:igarashi: Like this old man who once chased me down the street with a broom =.=

There are like 50 of the same topics, and nobody pays attention to the previous ones until a new one is made.

It's a forum! If the topic is brought up, let it be discussed!

If an admin doesn't close it and it's already this far along, don't worry about it.

Anywho, I don't actually say the character lines, I hear them in my head. Perhaps, I should have a doctor look at that.

But when I do say them aloud... Well, the female voices get butchered and I can only really do Phoenix and Jake properly, occasionally Yanni and Udgey as well.

:karma: low, monsterish..... and downright scary.
:redd: and :beef: holier than thou a-hole
:yuusaku: whiny...almost femimine, but not quite (probably cuz i thought he was a girl at first...yea that probably played a big part...)

So yeah I'm just gonna compare them to other video game/anime characters' voices ~*~to better convey my meaning~*~. Here is my SUPER LONG LIST.

:nick: - close to, but a little lower than, his "Objection" voice [boring, I know]
:maya: - similar to Chie's from Persona 4
:mia: - maybe a bit like Angelina Jolie's?
:pearl: - similar to Nanako's from Persona 4
:gumshoe: - kinda along the same vein as Murray from Sly Cooper but not as obnoxious, haha.
:godot: - ANTONIO BANDERAS
:edgeworth: - his is difficult to describe; I actually imagine him and Phoenix to have more tenor-range voices as opposed to the super deep voice Edgey has in the commercials. a bit like Jude Law with a hint of Hugh Laurie. so there you go
:damon: - Professor Oak.
:franny: - Yukari from Azumanga Daioh!! with an accent
:odoroki: - His "Objection" voice. creative yes
:minuki: - MAAAYBE a bit like Tohru from Fruits Basket? nah not really. hard to explain.
:kyouya: - I don't know who he sounds like ... but similar to his objection only ... yeah ... similar to his objection

and I can't decide on Kristoph's D:
Kay, you might want to tone the ruffling down a bit.

:edgeworth: - Formal British accent
:franny: - German accent, obviously
:karma: - Dark and intimidating. Need I say more?
:godot: - Like his objection, I guess. Manly and charming.
:eh?: - Deep with a New York accent.
:keiko: - GLaDOS from Portal

I love these things for some reason.

:phoenix: Harvey Birdman... Obvious Reasons...
:edgeworth: First time playing I imagined Vulturo, with the similar outfit minus the huge metallic wings, but then it turned into 'high-class' American business man.
:udgy: Santa Claus
:franny: Jesse from Pokemon
:godot: Troy McClure, 'coz of Jazz

Alot more, but waaay too much more.

:wellington:-A really high and loud Brittish accent.
:yuusaku:-Like a 13-year old boy going through puberty. So constantly cracking.
:cards:-Like Big Gay Al from the South Park Movie.
:matt:-One of those "duuuuuuude" voices. Only a little bit raspy.
:shelly:-A butler. What else?
:aiga:-An almost too nasaly fake Brittish accent. It sounds real but you can tell it's not his real voice.

Maya? BRITISH? What is wrong with you?

:phoenix: - A little bit deep , I can't say how I read it... But I try to do this as same as his OBJECTION. It's HARD.

:edgeworth: - BRITISH, but an easy accent.

:maya: - Fangirl voice, enthusiasm one.
I gotta admit that if my voice were a little bit higher, I bet I could sound just like her.
And of course, kinda childish.
But again, it can be mature when needed.
I'm gonna record my voice and try to put it with Maya's animations... and put it on YouTube. I will post it here.

:pearl: - I do not know why, I imgaine her voice as a very mature one, but it has a childish tune.

:franny: - Umm, German Accent of course, high one, but not too much. And again, not a heavy one.

:eh?: - HEYA, PAL!!!!
A little cowboy( don't ask me) voice... not very deep.

:godot: - A deep, deep voice.

:eh?: Rough voice, slightly 30s Chicago
:odoroki: I'm not very good with descriptions, and I can't really explain this one. When I figure out the voice actor he sounds most like, I'll have it.

Those Shonen Jump anime dubs - my grandma and cousin watch them. I used to, but when their first respective filler arcs occurred, I grew out of them.

Maya?

Maya wasn't even in there. It was FRANNY. :franny: And the only reason she's got a high British accent is because her "brother" Edgey does, and it's MUCH easier than a German accent on the mind. (Which is why I still haven't bought GS4.)

:kyouya: - a german surfer dude accent
:hair-flip: - same as his objection XD
:will: - a deep voice but when he cries- a softer tone
:phoenix: - normal voice (the same as his objection)
:hobohodo: - the same as when he was a lawyer but deeper and talks slower
:sadshoe: -A deep but friendly voice (i guess kinda like Will Power's voice)
:odoroki: - Like his objection but just a little bit softer
:chinami: - soft when she acts nice, but rough and hoarse when she's angry

Now that I finished AJ.....

:odoroki:- Like his objection. Only on the first case I imagine his voice as quiet and scratchy.

:agent-Smith:I actually imagine him as sounding older than 14. Maybe like 20-something....I don't know why.
:pencil:-Kind of how a frog would talk if it could.
:doodle:-Real, real quiet and high.
:study:-Like Arcibald (I don't know how to spell it. Nor do I know if that's his name.) from Veggie Tales.
:varanbaran:-Really loud and moderatley deep.
:gipsy:-Real mysterious and beautiful.
:olga-catch:-Real high and nervous.
:olga-quick:-A steryotipical New Yorkian woman.
:chopchop:-Like a man trying to be a woman. Only deep.

:phoenix: Like his objection voice
:odoroki: normal voice like his :takethat:, chords of steel voice like his :objection:.
:jake: call me crazy, but a heavy latino accent.
:cards: watch YuGiOh Abridged. In the episode where Bakura's Gaydar points to Pegasus's castle and Pegasus says "This torunament is simply wondaful", that's how I picture him saying fabulous
Spoiler: WUTSPOILER?
His redneck voice sounding really Larry The Cable Guy-like, but with a less heavy accent

:edgeworth: Like his objection, a slight british accent
:sadshoe: Exactly like Patrick Warburton (Joe from Family Guy)

:Temsai: Slow low pitched voice with Heavy-British accent.
:yani-fist: I don't know why, but sorta like Goofy.

:phoenix: Like his objection
:edgeworth: Like his objection again.... very slight British accent
:eh?: I have a very specific voice for Gumshoe.... Like, a little deep and kind of wannabe New York tough-cop sounding
:hobohodo: Actually sounds a lot different from his younger self, but I try to keep it similar. XD
:larry: Kind of like Seth Green except a little higher pitched in a constant sugar high.
:yuusaku: High-pitched and whiny
:mareka: Deep and kind of like a smoker, but loud and kind with a New York accent.
:bellboy: Quiet, polite, and a little high pitched with a slight British accent.
:jake: Tacked on cowboy accent, but he always sounds kind of relaxed, like his theme song.
