The game has definitely had an impression on my life. It caused my brother to decide to become an attorney (though he hasn't chosen between prosecutor or defense yet), my parents know what I'm talking about when I say "That lawyer game", and now I'm more eager to listen to my dad when he talks about his job (being an ace attorney himself), and when he brings us to court, so I can see what a real court case is like. And I can now discuss things with my dad better because of my increased knowledge of court terminology. Has the game affected you at all?

Well PW has affected my life in the following ways...

-I can use evidence law properly

-Helped me write stories/essays better (?)

-Taught me to scream at the top of my lungs "OBJECTION!!" When I need to get a point across.

and

-I became a funnier person to people (?)

(?)= I don't know how that happened but it just did after playing PW and I'll blame it.

It made me more sarcastic. It also made me look for contradictions. Adventure games on a whole have made me more thoughtful and logical.

Essays. It has helped me a LOT with that, because I'm the kind who has trouble supporting arguments; being a right-brain dominant person, most of my thoughts are VERY abstract. Now, by relating stuff to Phoenix Wright, I can get my thoughts across much more clearly. :edgy:

Also, Phoenix Wright has done for me what all my other obsessions have done for me- given me a reason to be insanely happy even when everything is horrible :pearl:

3. It has set a goal in mind to become a prosecutor.

4. It made me a fan of Forensic Files on Court TV.

-Since it's kinda dangerous where I live, I kinda think of ways to stay the hell outta the way so I don't get into anything.

-For some reason I can read people a whole lot better, which is awesome!

-I like the court system a little more and like to outsmart people while humming Objection GS4 music. . .yea xD

Spoiler: The last essay I wrote for English
All of my life I have considered myself to fall far away from the category of the normal. I cannot remember a single time that I have not considered myself a “freak,” to say. However, out of all of my “freakish” tendencies, I have to say that one of the strangest aspects of my personality is that I suffer from an obsession disorder. Simply put, when I decide that I really like something, I wrap my entire existence around that idea or thing. My mind begins to relate whatever it is that I like to my everyday life; even the simplest things, such as a color or a word, remind me of my obsession.

My current obsession lies in the video game Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, particularly the second case of the third game. For some reason, I took an atypical liking to this case, which is known as “The Stolen Turnabout” and regards a theft and a murder. Now, because I am so fond of it, I find myself trying to tie everything I do back to that case and the characters in it. For instance, the color green has become one of my favorite colors recently. This is due to the fact that the thief in the case is dressed in a frilly green and gold outfit. The large red ring that I’ve taken to wearing every day was purchased solely because the detective, whom I so adore, wears a similar ring (I even wear mine on the same finger of the same hand). I have even gone as far as to waste my money on a tiny magnifying glass, which I have tried to balance it over my eye as a monocle, simply because of the same detective. No one around me can utter the phrase “Look at me” without attracting my immediate attention, and hearing references to urns, cinnamon rolls, or masks causes me to squeal with delight—in fact, the word delight itself causes the same effect. All of this goes back to my obsession with “The Stolen Turnabout.”

To most people my quirk is considered highly unusual or eccentric, but I myself enjoy having it. If I was any less of a “freak” than I am, about anything, I would not be nearly as happy. Being able to be pushed into elation by something as common as a phrase like “Look at me” I hardly can judge as a curse.

The topic was, "What is something that makes you feel "freakish?".

(DON'T JUDGE MEEEE~)

For the record, the day after I turned the essay in my teacher addressed me when I came into the room, "HEY! LOOK AT ME! :D"

Also, I desk slam and point a lot now... And trail off in the middle of my sentences... :yuusaku:

It made me want to become a lawyer.

It made me join the mock trial team.

It made people look at me stupid when I realize I'm talking to myself as I play out parts in my fics in my head.

It made me come here and quote most of your funnies.

- I'm seriously considering becoming a detective after seeing Ema. [Not that I’ve ever played the fourth game, but...]
- I draw pictures of Phoenix characters that no one at my school understands.
- I call most people fools.
- I am much calmer [if more sarcastic] than I was before I played Phoenix Wright.
- I find myself comparing things and people to the characters.
- My vocabulary has improved.

It made me want to play the music on the piano. It made me think lawyers might not be that money-cheating and annoying. Though some lawyers still are money-cheating, and I'm still mad at my uncle's lawyer.
I also point my finger more often and everyone in my class stares at me like I had steroids injected in me because I always yell when the teacher says something that doesn't make sense.
It made me value my DS for something other than pogeymans and Phantom Hourglass. And if there was ever a decent shooting game on the DS, that too.
And most of all, PW entertained me when I was bored.

Well, geebus, I don't know where to start.

I guess I can start by saying it got me to say 'geebus' (thank you, Max).

I'm currently pouring all of my free time into anything law-related. I even checked out a law book from my school's library. It's heeeeaaaavy.
I see why Phoenix hates them.

Ummm, I want to BE a lawyer when I'm older. I have it all planned out, too.

I also have an odd obssesion with tigers and coffee.

It also helped redeem hispanics in my eyes. No offense to any hispanics, I was just picked on by ONLY them all my life. No one else. So, Juan and Diego helped me feel better. :)

Alot better, actually.

Umm...I'm really good at making cross-over pairings now (seriously, Dahlia and Uchiha Itachi make a cute couple).

I wear my hair like Dahlia's every day. And seeing as how I was a Dahlia (yes, A Dahlia) in a school play, I answer to Dahlia, too.

Actually, my friend describes me as Dahlia and Furio's love child (eeeeewwww).

I use my DS more often.

And PW gave me a new plushie to ache for. I have Knuckles from Sonic the Hedgehog, Rock Lee from Naruto, and now I need a little Feenie to squish.
What can I say? I'm a plushie whore.

Thanks to Furio, I can draw tigers a helluva lot better. And I can type in different accents.

PW also got me into drawing comics again. After Sasuke became a Mary Sue, naruto comics just weren't fun anymore.

I also started my first club using PW.

......Geebus, that's alot, but that's it.

For me? I feel as if I've become a lot more argumentative. I've been a lot more likely to debate things.

It's also got me writing, if only drabbles for the time being. 8D

I also think I'm a bit more observant of what's going on around me - trying to take in all the little details that will be massively important later.

I've been seriously contemplating looking into being a lawyer, or some other law-related career, although I'm not sure about this one yet.

I'm afraid I've also started using some of the most repeated words in the game a lot more often. XD

Not too much, but so far, creatively, it has made me want to exercise more clever twists in my own stories. It's made me want to aspire to try provide that sense of uniqueness the courtroom battles in the Ace Attorney series gives us. That's what I feel.

It's what I hope I can achieve, too. Especially since I am not the most clever writer you could find (I do try hard though).

As a professional game developer, it's given me a new standard for what I expect out of a game in terms of dialogue and character development. Let's face it, Mike Meekins was a character with more personality and depth than Master Chief. I don't write dialogue at work since I'm a programmer, but the quality and attention to detail present in Ace Attorney games has had a tremendous effect on my side projects.

Ah, I remember this one:
Okay, I was getting my hair blown out for a school picture a few weeks ago. First, he clipped my hair up and I looked like..um..*points to the boy in Croik's icon* That dude. And I laughed. Then I was Maya...or Ema. Then I looked like Ini Miney when he undid the clips, and I laughed again. Then I came out of the chair, with my hair done nicely, and I STILL looked like someoneeee....Lana. I had my hair JUST like Lana Skye's *same part and everything* for about four days straight.
