Glitched game. Need patch.

After a long absence, I finally have another AA-related dream, and of course it's about Drunkworth. "Drunkworth Investigations 3 (working title)", they say, is coming to us summer next year. Apparently, there's some sort of difficulty option depending on how drunk he is. He even has different responses and options in the harder (and drunker) levels. Also, there was something about the Logic system revamped to become like a merge-3 game.

I await the potential AA news next summer.

Can't wait. This is bound to be Yamazaki's best work

Oh wow. This will be amazing.

I dreamed someone asked which AA-killers had the best hair. My answers were Dee, Richard, Matt, Tigre because "iconic", Cammy, Patricia and channeled Tah'rust. I can't believe I forgot about Sahwit :o

My favourites would be Sahwit, White, Gant, Shelly, Matt, Diego, Kristoph, Daryan, Keyes, Means, Pierce, and Ga'ran. Pretty great huh.

Daryan's hair is... a work of art, alright.

Indeed, though I suspect that Daryan and Gumshoe's first names were swapped at birth.

Don't be mean, not everyone can have luscious pompadour like Daryan.

Well, uh... did I have an AA dream? I've been mixing up dream and reality so much lately that just the other day, I thought I dreamed I started school but then woke up and realized I did.

There was something about me watching a playthrough of some Dangan Ronpa game (v3 or whatnot), but for some reason, I wasn't in my own house. And something about Phoenix checking in on me like a concerned nanny.

Today's dream was me playing a murder mystery game where I had to figure out who killed some guy while the murderer was looking to kill me. I could play was Phoenix, Edgeworth, Apollo, and three others. The murderer turned out to be a DR character, and all the characters had a bad end which I got. There were spiders involved a lot. I remember Apollo trying to clean the toilets but a bat squirrel hybrid and a spider were having a fight. I remember Edgeworth's death scene involved him hiding in the kitchen and stabbing the killer several times but still dying.

There was also a spiritual hide and seek, where your soul would be separated from your body temporarily and you had to hide somewhere. If you were seen, you had to be pinched and then you would scream for the same amount of time you were hiding for. Yikes.

That sounds cool. Except for the spiders :larry: Poor Apollo. Poor Edgey.

Ah, so that's where they've gone. Lately my dreams have been arachnid-free.

Squirrel bat! :D Apollo still having nightmares about toilets, I see.

I was Apollo and me, Polecat and some other people seemed to be staying in this house for some time, but at the moment, me and Polecat were the only ones there, and Polecat was asleep, it was nighttime. Some person was snooping around outside the house and I had covered all windows but was scared that they could break in at any time and beat us up and steal our stuff or kill us or something. So I was completely on edge, couln't go to sleep, and being basically alone stressed me out even more, to the point where I thought that if so Aploplo would show up on the porch, I'd run out there and throw myself in his arms.

...Waking up from that in the middle of the night, I still felt affected by the creepy atmosphere in the dream... and Aploplo. Brr.

Then right before waking up for real in the morning I dreamed I had Klavier's hairstyle. Swish swoosh.

Wow, your dream sounds similar to mine. Just roaming the house to see if there's a bad guy (or even worse, Aploplo) on the loose.

Swish swoosh.

Post subject:  Re: Ever have Phoenix Wright-related dreams? *possible spoil

Ah, that's right. When I woke up I had to tell myself I'm not in that house, I'm in my apartment and it's located on the third floor so no one can get in unless they're a giant... which excludes Aploplo. Phew.

:klavier-pull: Now I want swishy swooshy hair too.

I just had a dream where I was in a computer simulation running into a firewall on my PC, reproduced as a metal cage, that was preventing me from accessing my AA games. But then I thought about it for a bit and remembered the games are on console or mobile only. So I guess it's a good thing I didn't try to ram through.

It's come to the point where I don't need to dream about AA for it to be related to AA. I just dream about watching an LP of Dangan Ronpa v3 on Nico Douga.

"Wow, what a weird AA dream," I think to myself as I forcibly paste a stock Phoenix Wright image from T&T over it.

Before meeting the monk of his life, Nahyuta was at some prosecutor's convention. Klavier was there as well. Nahyuta wanted Klavier to follow him out and look for "treasure". By which he meant men. So that's what they did.

Klavier and Nahyuta.. treasure hunting... huh. Excuse me for a sec, I'm just gonna real quick

I'm not sure if that's a look of glistening joy or blinding shame. ^^;

Well, again it's not exactly an AA dream, but I did dream I was playing a game of an amateur female PI with a male black cat as a partner. I could freely switch between the two of them at any time during investigations. We were investigating into a case where a middle-aged balding man who probably was the librarian was murdered in a library. I was hesitant to retread the crime scene in case I would be suspected of the crime, but my curiosity (and cat) pushed me to explore it anyway. My cat helped me search places where I couldn't reach, like above the shelves and in tight spaces. The entire place felt like a puzzle to me... and the police officers dressed in the familiar blue.

Oh, and I was the only one who could understand what my cat was saying. His lines were blue and in parentheses, like thoughts, but I heard them aloud.

So... AA, GT, and PL merged into one? Cool.

Doesn't matter, as long as it's shinyyyy~ like a treasure from a sunken pirate wreck, scrub the deck and make it look shiny...

I think my cat was also acting as my bodyguard against any encroaching males who were romantically interested in me. He wanted to share my bed with me. Licky licky...

I'm not sure where that fits in AA, GT, or PL, but I guess maybe a little DR made it in too...?

Responsible, overprotective more so than my "parents" pussycat.

I got the impression that it wouldn't actually affect the story itself if I did go into a sort of dating-sim-like part of the game, but my cat would become passive-aggressive down the line or something, haha.

tbh your dream has more Lady Layton than Professor Layton in it Rubia.

Post subject:  Re: Ever have Phoenix Wright-related dreams? *possible spoil

Probably. It was definitely GT-inspired anyway.

Well, in these intermittent dreams of mine, Subby is clearly running out of material. This time I had a hand-drawn animatic describing AA to some friends who were new to it, but it looked like a kindergartener had drawn stick figures in crayon. Also, there was a running gag where Edgeworth kept walking into walls and Phoenix kept falling over for no reason. And I was narrating it like a li'l kid.

I think I captured the heart of the series very well.

I think you did.
Edgeworth walking into walls makes up for about half of my GK experiences.

I dunno, my favourite part of AAI was playing 'Catch me if you can' with my partners. Many laughs were had.

I would like to see your animatic to be honest.

Ah, I prefer pushing the partners across the scene by walking into them.

Yeah, that too. Drunkworth can really be pushy sometimes.

Post subject:  Re: Ever have Phoenix Wright-related dreams? *possible spoil

Indeed.
Oh, and I dreamed as well. I had bought some game where one dug up boxes containing life-size dolls of random AA-people, although Mike Meekins is the only one I remember. One ordered the game and the deliveryperson would bury them in your yaard. I felt a little uncomfortable knowing some rando had been digging through it, and the concept itself almost felt like digging up graves so that made me uncomfortable too. Dunno know I bought the game then. :meekins:

That's one way to push up daisies.

I am a little tempted to actually draw out my dream, but I can't draw. Not even with those crayons. :(
