But...

YAY 400 PAGES :D

Congrats, SC. You've crowned page 400. But I count too because my name is in your post, right? :D

I have been getting way into the Yakuza series. Nothing like a good game filled with reals and feels and curb-stomping and protecting innocent children and solving crimes with the police and managing real estate and minding cabarets and hostesses and collecting porn star cards and invading people's lockers and acting as temps in movies and finding lost pets and training your own pet and...

Oh, of course we can't forget about dancing and karaoke. Most important.

Interestingly enough, I also crowned 300 pages

Weirdly enough though, today's dream was more about food, Harry Potter, and Spongebob. Nothing even remotely to what I've been into for a while.

400! Whoooooop!
Rubia: Yeah, that picture is lovely :3 I wonder if stickfigure was inspired by it.
Aw dangit Subby!

---
First, I was taking part in some play, and so was Polecat. Or rather Flabbergastra, because he was in drag, playing a woman. One group of actors, including us, where to stand at the side for one part, but as I said in a low voice to the others during the rehearsal, I didn't think I'd make it to that part of the stage in time. So the group started discussing what to do about it, while some others read their lines, and Polecat forgot himself and talked so loudly he distracted the other actors xD

I was going to see the dragqueen Bianca del Rio, and so were Apollo and Polecat. I saw them a few rows in front of me but in this dream I didn't know them. Anyway Polecat saw me holding a glass of water and a cup of coffee, and told Apollo he wanted water too. "Or coffee, I'm coffee-horny". They were also gonna have drinks. Someone random said excessive drinking of alcohol is not good, and they got annoyed and were like, of course not, but, say two drinks on a weekend is no biggie, and we're only gonna have two drinks each tonight.

Rubia: Taka deserves all the cuddles yea. <3

Ahh Subby... Listen to Rubia. :no-no:

GfM: Oh, Flabbergastra! I would love to have a part in that play. :3 Talking too loud and distracting people though... xD Sounds like our Anthony alright.

Bianca! :D <3 Apollo! :D <3 Polecat! :D <3

Coffee-horny was a rather good expression I must say, haha.

Ugh, that type of person... That type... Concerning the drinks.

Indeeed :D I knew Bianca personally in the dream x3 It is! I've been coffee-horny all day. Or more like caffeine-horny. Coffee in the morning, then two red bulls, and now coffee again. Cue duracell-bunny-mode.

I stumbled upon on an old AA-dream before going to sleep yesterday and that in its turn inspired the dream of tonight. “It might have been something with heights too, namely Apollo's fear of and my love of them.”, plus another old dream where I was Apollo and saw my hands as I climbed the tower on the stage in 4-3 and felt scared doing so.

In an old building there is a towering staircase, or more like something between stairs and a ladder. It has a red bannister construction almost caging it in that one can hold onto while ascending it. I want to climb it. It goes to the roof. On the roof is a rail going around it too and I want to hold onto it tightly and look over my surroundings. I imagine my hands gripping the rails tightly climbing the ladder-stairs, and gripping the rail tightly on the roof looking down.
Because vertigo. Vertigo galore, and where would the fun be without it? I remember some pictures I’ve seen of people sitting on the ends of mountains, seemingly without a care in the world. I would never dare to do that without something to hold onto, and that’s why I love it. If I got to the point where I dared to do something like that, I think, there would be no point, because the rush would be gone. My love for heights it tightly connected to the inkling of fear while knowing I’m -at least mostly- safe. That’s what makes it exhilerating.
Descending the ladder-stairs might be a different thing though, I’m scared the steps will be so smooth I’ll slip down and hurt myself. Then I think that’s stupid, of course the people who built it didn’t purposefully make steps people wouldn’t keep their balance on. And then I think that’s stupid, because since the whole construction is rather old it’s entire possible the steps have been worn from so many feet climbing them and have become dangerously sleek in the process. Thinking this I imagine Dhurke for some reason.

Brrr. Reminds me of when I was still in school. My class was on the second floor, and I had a good view of below from the stairway. Still, I was really paranoid and tried to stay away from it so as to not risk falling down. Vertigo, man.

Aw, no, I missed Brami! But yay, Altimomates live on! :b33r:

As someone who experiences vertigo as well, I relate. Nothing like climbing the Grand Canyon slopes with but a (steel) rope net to line the edge. It's the stuff of childhood nightmares.

Then again, eventually I was able to cross a ravine via rope-suspended bridge in the middle of a tropical forest. I even dared to run, but the swaying scared me so I didn't keep running. But I still experience vertigo and that bridge is still firmly planted in my memories... and nightmares.

Damn bridges.

Okay, um... so Edgeworth became a defense attorney and my personal counselor and a street brawler all in one. Phoenix still existed (and was probably also a brawler), but they worked in separate offices and I didn't know why. I think they were rivals? Or was there a divorce issue and I was trying to talk them out of it? Not sure.

...But I'm happy that I finally found a definitive dream with my martial art lawyers. It's a nice feeling seeing them lay waste to punks who think they're hotshots.

Aw. I only have such a small amount of it that it becomes thrilling rather than scary. It's a shame that my town doesn't even have any good climbing trees.

You're so much like your dad sometimes. At least you didn't fall on it.

I love bridges. There is one on the way between my apartment and the train station and center of town, that goes over a motorway. I have a fond memory from when I'd just moved into the apartment and me and a friend took a walk at night and then we stood leaning over the rail, feet planted on the one that went straight across the bridge, talking about just anything while the cars were passing by below us in the darkness. It's just a shame that kind of bridge often has spiders on them :(

I dreamed someone in a blog post or something jokingly said you'd need a "degree in hippie" to do something. I was gonna show it to WG and say that Timmari probably has a degree in hippie. Then I thought about his mum, who I've had some dreams about, and that I was curious about his dad, and that it was sweet and funny to me that according to the dream where I saw a glimpse of his mum, she looked like a prim and proper, almost conservative woman, while she really is a punk-loving hippie who intentionally moves into a house without running water and calls her child "kiddo". ^____^

Indeed. This felt more "academic in ivory tower" than "hippie" anyway. Not the concept of human rights, but the program, and the doctrine.
But I own paisley socks, paisley underwear, a paisley tie, a paisley shirt and paisley pants, so maybe I'm not the right person to decide what is and what is not hippie.

Apollo and Klavier were drinking beer while waiting in line to get into a music festival. It was getting rather crowded and Klavi suggested Apollo could sit on his shoulders. At first Apollo said no, because he didn't think Klavi would be strong enough to carry him, but Klavi insisted he could.
Klavier: Come-on! :D *claps hands*
And so Apollo got up.
Both: Cheers! *bumps their beer cans against each other*
Klavier: *downs his beer* My, how tall you are!
Apollo: Oh, or it's you who are short! ;)
Klavier: How's the weather up there?

Watching this I thought Klavier had better get Apollo back on the ground before they go to a concert, because people will get mad if they see Apollo sailing into the audience like that xD

But that's the best way to enter a concert scene!

Well... I had a strange montage of events. It played out like a comic, but much less integrated. There were random flashes of Pokemon, Diablo, AA, dungeon crawling like in DnD...

Anyway, I think I was supposed to be helping Ema study for her language class, but along the way, I somehow just vanished and forgot what I was doing. I was too busy chasing after Phoenix and Edgeworth, who were running around in circles like headless chickens.

Why is it that the parts I remember most of the AA games is how I went through them in the most roundabout ways?

I dreamed someone in a facebookgroups for various kinds of nerds wrote something about SoJ. Someone replied that when playing SoJ she'd felt the need to constantly tweet about it. Srsly, he would make an interesting LPer if he played vid games.

Yet again, I am racked by a dream where I fend off a bee... who turned out to be a mischievous fairy and I was granted magical prowess by some act of a higher power (...Grandpa?) to smite her in case she tried anything with me.

And uh, something about meeting with Maya for a coffee or the like. Pearl would act her secretary and maid. (Thinking about it, she really is.) Sometimes I forget that she's technically my other Mom. She feels more like a big sister or close aunt if anything. I think it was an important meet about the other Mom and Dad... probably about how non-existent they have been as parents and are more like our kids.

When he was younger, Apollo read a magazine called Christ me. The only thing he took away from it was that it was a-ok to pour out your energy drinks in store windows if you didn't want it. Is... that a Christian thing? No wonder he said he was an atheist in the white room-dreams.

I first read that magazine name as "Christmas" and was about to say "yes".

Not that Christians in general do that, but the holiday eggnog can get pretty rich sometimes.

Oh, I've never had eggnog but that explains all frozen puddles of red bull outside stores during December.
