You know, I find it a little strange that I haven't found a thread like this in an Ace Attorney community. So I decided to start it up myself. =p In here, the idea is to post whatever references to the Ace Attorney series you might find in any other media, such as anime, other games, comics, manga, whatever you can think of. I'll start with a few references myself:

Reference source: Anime series
Reference name: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu)
Reference location: Episode 8
Reference details: An entire scene depicting a parody of a courtroom sequence between Phoenix and Edgeworth. Scene parody begins at 00:35 in the linked YouTube video, until about 02:46 (few seconds more or less).
Resource: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1XZLLnzBfo

Reference source: Anime series
Reference name: Lucky Star
Reference location: Episode 19
Reference details: Cameo appearances by Apollo Justice and Klavier Gavin, as drawings made by one of the characters (Tamura Hiyori) who's obsessed with bishonen boys and drawing manga at 06:23~06:26 in referenced YouTube video. (Additional unrelated cameos include Edward Elric and Colonel Mustang of FullMetal Alchemist fame.)
Resource: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjgPo-rc2FA

Reference source: Anime series
Reference name: So Long, Mr. Despair (Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei)
Reference location: Episode 3
Reference details: The male lead, Nozomu Itoshiki, is getting virtually ridiculed by a foreign transfer student along the rest of his class for not having gone out of the country, and retorts by claiming to be "individually practicing isolation"... to immediately be shown having a giant Psyche-Lock over him. XD Shown at around 08:31 on related YouTube video.
Resource: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAnHMvXXxQ8

Come on, now post your very own. =D I don't think I'm the only one that's found some. =p

You forgot to mention the Ace Attorney doujin game that spawned from the infamous Haruhi scene.

There's two actually.

In an episode of Pokemon, they had an interrogation/arrest when a character was accused of stealing something, and an Officer Jenny jumped in at the last minute with casebreaking evidence and an "Objection!"

It wasn't a trial they were...investigating the crime scene and they started debating who done it...

The last part was correct though. (she was all up in gangsta street clothes... D:)

This is pretty confirmed in the Japanese version of the episode too since she was saying "IGIARI!" with pretty much the same statements and random DRAMAAAA music.

Hmm... I'll need my dictionary and lots of free time (which I don't happen to have right now), but I'll try my hand at translating the games... Eventually. >_>

Yep, here's my copy & pasted post about this from a Pokemon board, with another semi-reference:

-The Secret Sphere of Influence - Officer Jenny, who had arrested Nando, showed a picture of Meowth disguised as Sunflora stealing the Adamant Orb, and said it was all the evidence she needed. An unseen person then called out, "Objection!" (it was even the same in Japanese, "Igiari!") and this turned out to be the visiting Jenny.

-Pull Yourself Together, Chingling! - Shizue is vaguely reminiscent of Minuki/Trucy from Ace Attorney, a girl magician in a top hat who performs magic shows.

Since Shizue is still in a Japanese episode I have long yet to see that.

Their outfits are very different obviously, but since there was a recent game (AJ) with a girl magician in a top hat, and another one shows up in this Pokemon episode, I'd say it qualifies as a reference.

Putting sarcastic notes aside...I think it's more of the character's facial appearance (a la, hair and one earring) that probably qualify. And again I haven't seen this episode yet so it could be her personality too.

Not what I meant.

Didn't notice the one earring, good point.

And now that I think about it, Shizue looks like a cross between Trucy and Zatanna from JLU, although I'd need to get a full-body picture to prove it.

Next time read the thread. I'd already stated the name of the episode. And the event we're talking about is an arrest, not a trial.

-_- 1) I didn't see it in the thread. Not everyone notices everything all the time. 2) Why are you telling me what it was? I never said it was a trial; I only quoted that post because it was the one that mentioned the episode. The people who have to make others feel stupid are the ones who make them afraid to ever ask questions... not everyone in the world is perfect at observing every single thing.

Sorry, I don't want to get into a fight; the way that was worded just really rubbed me the wrong way. If it happens again, you could just say "I already answered that earlier", and then you wouldn't be giving the impression that you think the person asking the question is a n00b. ^^

Also in the H-game Shuffle! Really? Really! You try to correct the memories of one of the main characters, Kaede. In doing so if she remembers something wrong you will start the Really system, in which if you get the answer correct Rin will say objection and Kaede will remember things correctly.

Spoiler: Really system

And finnally in the Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo manga...

In the new Capcom game for the Wii coming out sometime this year. It's called 'We Love Golf!'

Apollo looks like he's 9 there, though.

I suppose that's a huge downgrade from his normally looking 14...

Sorry, I probably won't think much of Mr. Justice till I get to play as him, anyway, I believe someone mentioned A Excel Saga page where Excel objects to something and the lifebar is there and everything, they even promised a scan...which I would like submitted to Evidence, because I wanna see it

To those who talked about the Pokemon episode:

It was so lame dubbed =\ All Jenny did was basically SAY "Oooob-jection!" Didn't sound that good. I wonder if they actually put EFFORT into it in the japanese version. (Not that I was expecting much effort from 4Kids, mind you >.>)

There also is the stick man series, which makes a lot of references, where you can, by making the right decissions, play an obvious Phoenix Wright "case"
