I find the name Trucy funny for the fact that it resembles the Norwegian word "truse", which means pantie. Now I honestly can't stop thinking of panties whenever I see her name xD
If I didn't know Norwegian, I woulda like the name. Now it's just funny.

Others I'm neutral on, but I've started to like Klavier. I mean, a lot. It rocks xD

Actually, it's the same thing in danish. "Trusse" means pantie. Would be hillarious if this was intended, but unlike Piano, I'll give the benefit of the doubt on this one (considering it follows the original pun of true-see).

I really like the name Trucy. It's cute, which goes with her nicely.

I've gotten used to Apollo, (I'll bet AJ will be his 'Nick'-like nickname when the game comes here) though whenever I hear Apollo Justice together, I immediately think of blaxploitation films.

Wocky? Utterly stupid. Hopefully it's just a nickname, and his real name is Alphonse or something posh.

Trucy calls Apollo "Polly" (Yes :polly: ) if you pay close attention to one of the scrolling texts during Trucy's presentation in the recent trailer. But that's only Trucy so far, maybe the others will come up with something else.

Quawk quawk.

Probably late, but Trucy = "True See."

I like all of them except "The Gavinners" (The Governers?) and Trucy

The German word "gewinner" is pronounced "gay-vin-ner", and means "winner". :kyouya:

I LIKE ALL THE NAMES

ALL OF THEM

They are hilariously dorky and I love it. Plus Apollo Justice is so much fun to yell in the dorkiest voice possible. Like... the Super Smash Brothers announcer's voice. THIS TRIAL'S WINNER IS... APOLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO JUSTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE. TRY IT, EVERYBODY. :gant:

Wocky is a pretty dumb name, but it's not like people in real life don't have really dumb names. At least it's not... like... a completely normal name that's spelled incomprehensibly. It could be worse, you know. They could have named him Bobo Bobobobobo, to keep with his Japanese naming theme. :lana:

I have to admit I was a bit wtf'd by The Gavinners, but it's funnier once you imagine it yelled by some kind of TV announcer. LIVE, ON THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW, IT'S... THE GAVINNERS! :keiko:

Still, Apollo Justice's name made me bust a gut! Because I get this mental image of a vanilla swiss roll standing at the attorney's rostrum while pointing out with his wafer stick index finger whilst saying

I kind of agree with that quote right there.
Every time I hear Apollo Justice I feel like saying Apollo Creed from Rocky.
It just doesn't work for me.
I like Apollo but his last name makes it feel close to Creed for some reason o.o;

I preferred Diego Armando as the name isn't English but in fact it is actually Latin. Better than the Japanese-pronounced Godot (go-doh...) as is sounds almost like one offensive word in our language & I don't want to elaborate on this....

I really like the names. I just find that complaining about names as well as voices superficial. I say this for I have a name that does not originate from America.

I like them all except for Apollo's last name, 'Justice'. SRSLY. It's cute, but it's just the ultimate in puns. D: I like how Capcom makes the names into silly puns, though. Just not 'Justice'.

lawl at the Apollo snacks. xD I like that more then the fact that 'Apollo' was the Greek God of justice.

Yeah...Compared with his original name王泥喜,Apollo is a much better one(especial when you explain it in Chinese, it means King Mud Happy=_=||||||) .It's also seems to be a clever idea to pick Justice as his last name because 法介 exactly means law and justice. :yogi:

I can't see why there are so many people don't like the name Gavinners...(maybe just because English is not my mother tone )The original Japanese name of the bank means "Gavin's band" even there is only one Gavin in it.If it's bad then the Japanese one is bad as well.

I think it's kinda rather preferred though that it wasn't something so blatant as "JUSTICE" but rather something that can related to puns in his speech similar to how "Naruhodou/Isn't that right, Wright?" did.

But the many puns and random in-jokes coming out of it made me accept it now and just laugh with it~ 8D
