I really began working on my costume today, I'll update periodically with the progress.

Here is the stencil for the pants

Here is the result of the stencil. The paint I used ended up breaking the stencil so I have to make another unfortunately.

Here is the stencil I made for the back of the jacket. There was no official art of it so I had to base it off the overworld sprites.

This is the jacket itself. I still have to add the dragons to the sleeves.

Yeah, I basically just had the official art of Lang open and tried to scale everything (without any real measurements). The pentagons, the whiskers, and horns were all cutouts I had to make and trace onto a larger sheet of card stock, the head I had to free hand totally.

UPDATE: I added images of the pattern for the back of the jacket, and also the jacket itself (still incomplete)

What kind of paint do you use for coloring in the stencil?

It's this brand of spray on fabric paint called Simply Spray. The stuff I'm using is called stencil spray, it goes on thick and dries like silk screen ink.

I'm pretty handy with Xacto blades. Just a simple matter of running the blade against a ruler for the straight lines and edges, and being very careful when doing the curves.
