For a while I've been wanting to use the background sprite from Ace Attorney Investigations as my personal wallpaper. Naturally it ended up looking overly pixelated due to it being blown up in size.

So I said, "screw it" and I re-created my own in higher quality at 1024 x 768.

Nothing original, but I tried my best to make it look almost identically as it appeared in the game. Thought I'd share this for those of you who really liked the image from the game as much as I did. :)

Hey thanks, I knew I wasn't the only one who had realized the awesomeness of the image. It was really simple to do, I mainly used the original sprite as a guide. :hobohodo:

It would be really time consuming, wouldn't it? And it looks EXACTLY the same! :keiko:

It looks like he used the official artwork, filled it with one color, lessened the opacity of each silhouette, then created a shadow for each. Then with some bold lines and white gradients around the edges he replicated the effect of the original UI.

Yup, that's exactly what I did. Very basic Photoshop techniques. The only thing remotely tricky and I use that term very loosely, was shaping the shadows in the exact same shape and position as the original sprite, I didn't want to use the shadow layer effect so I just used the transform tool. :P

Very nice job indeed. I liked that image but never thought of it as making a good desktop background.
