I don't have any family in Burma, thank goodness. Most of my family lives in the US or in Hong Kong.
However.. my family has a close friend who's wife lives in Burma. I'm not sure if she's okay or not :/
I've heard many unfortunate stories about what happens in Burma, so I hope everything's ok regardless.

Ah, now I know. Thanks, Fran. Its been too long since I've played that one. I recently replayed 1-1 through 1-4, but that was because of the musical project.... I'm a bit of a slacker when it comes to replaying PW games.

I've only played the DS version so I'm unfamiliar with the FFIII original story :/

I'm a huge fan of the RPG series Shadow Hearts. The girl is named Alice Elliot :) She falls in love with the main guy named Yuri Hyuga, and I think together they make one of the cutest couples in any RPG I've ever played.
There's also a huge backstory to their relationship that makes it even more special, but you would have to play the game to find out.

Well, the funny thing is that my name "ff3girl" is actually referring to Final Fantasy VI, which came to the US as Final Fantasy III (because 2, 3, and 5 were skipped). So a more accurate name for myself would be ff6girl, but I've been using this for so long that it would feel weird to change it ^_^.
Sadly, I haven't played the original FF3. (Rather ironic, I know!) Maybe I'll play that and Shadow Hearts this summer. It looks very cute! <3
