FYI, Shadow Hearts (the first game, there's also Shadow Hearts: Covenant (SHII)) is hard to come by in stores because it was released awhile ago.. around when FFX came out. So you might have to buy it online or dig around for it :)

Aren't they making a FFVI remake? I remember seeing updated, modern CG artwork of Terra and Celes, but I'm not sure as I'm not familiar with the characters ^__^;

I've played all the games including spin-offs at least... 10 times each. They're really what I grew up with, even today I own every soundtrack ever recorded, so if you have any questions, my dedicated, dedicated childhood should be able to answer. XD

...I wasn't that impressed with it. The DS version does a slightly better job of giving the characters and story a little personality, but it's still barely above the original in that aspect.
I'd much rather play FF V. At least that has Gilgamesh.

I'm not sure if you'll (because of your hardcore FF background) will find this interesting, but I've cosplayed as the traditional FF battle menu before. The hand cursor was able to move to each command and everything. I'll show pics of the menu if interested. XD;

Yeah, it was quite original.. I've seen people make FF menu as a prop, but never cosplay as the actual thing.
