I also kind of like biblio's sig, 'cause I've never realized how similar Pearl's and Maya's sad sprites are.

*sniff* I remember when I first made my account on here... It was late at night and I decided that even though I was a newbie, I needed an avatar, at least. Before I made an account, when I looked around people's posts, I noticed all these really pretty sigs and avatars and wondered, "Gosh, whoever's making these probably is either super busy or doesn't do them anymore..." I've had experience from other boards of really talented people that make wonderful stuff then leave the boards for good and never make their art stuff again Well, I saw a name reoccurring throughout these sigs; people advertising your work by saying: "Made by the talented Vicki!" or something like that. I remember seeing your thread and when I got an account, I decided that even though you were super busy with so many orders, I was willing to wait weeks or months to get an avatar from you. So I placed an order for an avatar my first day of being on CR... and who would've guessed that you made it that very night!? 
You can't imagine how happy I was...Yikes! enough reminiscing!
Your stuff is wonderful, Vicki, and when I get my sprites together, I'll probably ask for another sig from you. I'll also wait until your burden lightens up a wee bit, so I won't be another bother... I don't know how you do it or what program you use, but it's quite amazing what you're doing! Another talent you have is being able to... how do I say this... improvise when people don't give you specific details. You're very good with putting colors together and adding little details that make the art piece special!

I can't believe that it's now July, and I started this thread back in November. It seems like just yesterday I was putting some silly examples up and typing up an introduction.
I've met some very wonderful people here who've I've respected as not just as a requester (for being polite and whatnot), but also as someone I viewed as loyal and understanding (two very good traits for possible friends!).
Support means a lot to me, especially when this thing I do is usually only done on the internet, where my family or friends can't really support what I do in my freetime. So, most or almost all of the support I receive is from you guys :) Sounds cheesy, but to see how happy some people get after receiving their finished request makes the hard work worth it. I simply like helping others out, and I recall when (it might have been on Gaia, not sure) some girl who had requested a banner was having a lousy day, was sad and all. When I PM'ed her the finished work, she said she had cheered up and was much happier because of it. This is why I do what I do.
Anyway...
Request anytime, I'd be happy to make something for you.
And thank you for appreciating my use of artistic freedom! I absolutely love experimenting, so when people give me absolute creative freedom, I can then usually come up with unexpected but sometimes, very interesting results! :D

For my avatar, I would like the Masque*DeMask emblem, with a feather sticking out of the top left. The background should be all black, and the emblem itself should be a white tracing.
As for my signature, It should be Phoenix with alot of porcupines, some on him, some on the ground. The text is "I hate my life...", and he should be making that nervous face where he's sweating and stuff. As for the background, surprise me.

Man, I had to have scrapped at least two ideas before settling on a simple black/white color scheme background, with random elements of color.
I didn't want to work with a chaotic background with random colors because I am a believer in "organized chaos", in that, chaos can be good, but if it makes a certain kind of sense.
That being said, I tried making a random colorful background at first, but it just didn't work.
