But remember! We're not interchangeable, and we're very different (unique in our own way) in terms of styles and how we do things. ^__^; I'm sure you know this, though.
I've only watched Death Note until ... the event.
After that, I just couldn't get back into it again. After I finish up Haruhi and some other animes on my "to watch" list, I'll have to promptly finish Death Note. ;D

Ah, yes...I know which 'vent' you're talking about, now. Well, you see, I managed to get a really nasty virus that completely OBLITERATED our computer. You know what that means; no more Photoshop, and I dunno if the disc I have doesn't have too many scratches. D: So I can only resort to using my school computer.

Hehe, thanks for confirming that. ^^; I don't know you well enough to say you're one that doesn't get annoyed at little things like that, but I'm pretty sure you don't; I just always freak out over little stuff like that. I'm about as spazzy as Apollo dearest, I'm afraid.
-sigh- I know! D: I mean, the characters that followed after same person seemed prety cool, but...Ugh. I guess it was event that was somewhat doomed to happen, but that didn't mean it actually had to happen! ; ;
Of course, I won't spoil~ :) However, I WILL say that Mika has become my favorite character...He kinda needs it, considering- Judging from my friends- He has a veeerryyy small fanbase. But...I love him, so it's worth a shot! :D [Plus, there are other new ones, but again my lips are sealed.]

Ah, many thanks! I understand about your stress, I was placed in advanced classes, which means I have a lot of work to do and I joined three clubs that frequently travel--we're even going down to Texas to rebuild homes for Ike survivors who lost their homes in a few months.
The virus was thanks to a friend who thought it'd be cute to do some objectionable things on my computer while she was over. D: To be honest, I only miss Sony Vegas (cries river of tears over that) and my Photoshop CS2. Thankfully, I still have the disc for that. :3
And I try my best. <3 I'd like to think good manners were integral in my personality and such. But I look forward to the results, as always! You're so talented--I could take a lesson or two from you. What brushes do you use?

Hatsune Miku's sig is amazing! I love how well the sunflower complements the sprite and the textures/brushes you've used to make the background. The colour scheme also fits the rest of the sig. My only complaint is that the lower part of the sprite's body looks "cut"...

I use for-public-use brushes, I'm part of a private graphic design community, and I also make my own brushes (an example of a creative brush set I've made is from my science reference tables from high school.. or, silhouettes of women's bodies i.e. fashion design). Thanks for the compliments :) I understand how you'd interpret the sprite as being "cut", it also looks that way because the border is a tattered/torn/ripped texture, so the sprite is essentially (and purposely) "cut". XD

That Klavier Gavin sig is..... FUCKING AMAZING. The colors, the text, the effects.. it all comes together. I applaud you, m'am.
Also, good edit on the Hatsune signature. You have a good editing eye, and that's great to have.
I noticed the little discoloration at the bottom ((before the edit)), so kudos to realizing and fixing it.

Oh ho hoooo, I see. You're mistaken though -- that's not the background, the sprite's bottom part (the part you're referring to) is black, and the pink spots, etc. are effects (which I found to be discolored in comparison to the rest of the signature) that are on top of the sprite layer. ;]

You don't have to feel sorry for me, haha. No one needs to ever pity me, because I'm not miserable or anything. In fact, life is awesome for me right now :D I have a serious passion for graphic design, so it's all my pleasure. Only when I am overwhelmed with IRL work and responsibilities do I feel a bit stressed, but that's about it. When people show that they care and respect me/my work makes me happy.
I'm genuinely happy to make other people happy. Few people may fully appreciate what I do, but hey, I've made people's days happier in the past.. (some girl said she was feeling depressed until she saw her completed sig X3) so it's all worth it.

Hahah. Thanks. Making brushes is not difficult at all, but it depends on the content of your brushes (i.e., the subject or theme). Some people just do unoriginal and "useless" brushes (I'm hesitant on calling some brushes useless because duh, one of these days, you'll be looking for that brush of a OAK TREE. No, not a redwood, but specifically, an OAK TREE with only 3 branches!! O__O.. yeah, you know what I mean), so I try to mix things up a little. Also, brushes that are fuzzy or grainy or really low quality.. it restricts the range of application you could potentially use the brushes for. :/

Brushes come in a variety of designs, effects and images :]
You can stamp them once (left-click and let go), or even draw with them.
You can draw (drag) with certain brushes and some have a watercolor effect, or even calligraphy effect. Lots of uses, lots of applications.

A brush, in simple terms, is kind of a picture that is used to create effects in image editing. Here's an article from a site I found.

I was hoping I could get a new avatar, but I'm not sure if this is too complex to be an avatar, or if it has to be a sig. So, whatever fits the best is fine.
First off, here are the images I'd like you to use: first, second, and third.
I'd like the first and third images more in the background, both more faded. If you need to, you can have the middle part of the first image (like, where no important people are) be cut out, or something. But if that doesn't look good, then that's fine. Basically, the first image is the courtroom and the third image is the "flashback" of what supposedly happened. Then I'd like the sprite in the second image to stand out more (not faded). The bottom part of her might need to be blended into the images; but I don't know, so I'll take your creative integrity on that one. :D
As for text, somewhere visible, I'd like:
"It is my duty to find the truth
of what really happened..."
And could the text be in a sort of "calligraphy/handwriting-like" font? Like the one I have in my current avatar (doesn't have to be exact font)? It doesn't have to necessarily be in cursive, but just in a handwriting-like style
Basically, I'd like the effect to be more of that the first and third images are this sprite character's "thoughts" or "memories". If that makes any sense. So more of a foggy theme would be nice... or whatever looks the best!
