That sort of action is wrong and offensive to the developers of the game. You're basically saying, "This game is not worth paying for."

Therefore, I am commanding you to go forth and by copies of AA that you have pirated.

That includes you, DrHobo.

If they really don't want to buy it, the other moral alternative is deleting it. That, however, has less effect since it was already played and/or beaten.

Look, I'm sorry for overreacting, I'm just kind of appalled the court-records seems to encourage this behavior or simply doesn't care.

I just came from the IRC channel and practically EVERYONE involved in the discussion not only admitted to pirating, but claimed that it wasn't actually stealing and that they'd pretty much do it again in a heartbeat.

I agree that it helps in the long run if you buy the games, but really, do you think that this thread will change people's minds?? Sorry, but probably not.

You really can't COMMAND someone to stop pirating games. It's not like you can control the willpower of people who get the game illegitimate. Sure it screws the company but there are people who have money issues or just lazy.
