"Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Turnabout Connections”

Guy hears noises and looks around. No one is in site so he continues to head towards his car.
He opens up the trunk and a figure appears behind him.
Guy turns and gets a scared look on his face. Just as this happens, he is stabbed in the chest and tucked in the trunk.

OPENING TITLES APPEAR

Shot of desk. Camera pans until it reaches a name plate that reads “PHOENIX WRIGHT”
Phoenix is sitting at his desk and signing some documents as his TV is on.
Camera slowly zooms on a TV playing the “The Adoes: Ultimate Survivors” TV show.
Miscellaneous clips from the show play as Phoenix is filing his papers.
Suddenly Phoenix’s office phone starts to ring.
Phoenix presses “Speaker” and answers.
Phoenix: Wright & Co. Law Offices, this is Phoenix Wright speaking. How may I help you?
Voice: So, your Phoenix Wright. The one that has never lost a case?
Phoenix: (Indifferently) Flattery will get you no where sir.
Voice: Whatever! Look! I need your help!
Phoenix: Well this is a law office. Not a- Wait, your voice sounds familiar...
Phoenix then looks up at his TV as he discovers that the show’s star: Tommy Adoe has the same voice.
Phoenix: You’re Tommy Adoe aren’t you?
Tommy: Yeah! So what? I need you to represent me!
Phoenix looks surprised
Phoenix: Well, what are the accusations?
Tommy: (nervously) Uh... well. Murder
Phoenix looks dumbfounded.
Phoenix: Wha-
Phoenix’s cell phone starts to ring.
The caller ID reads: MAYA FEY
Phoenix: Hold on a moment. I need to take this.
Tommy: Sure. I have ALL the time in the world! Look! I need help over here!
Phoenix: I really need to take this.
Tommy: Fine. But make it snappy.
Phoenix: Thank you.
Phoenix answers his cell phone
Phoenix: Maya! I haven’t talked to you since you left for your Kurain Spirit Medium Training!
Maya: I know! I miss you SO much! I want to keep busting baddies! But, I found out, I have to stay here for another year...
Phoenix: (shocked) What?! Another year? (Pauses) Wait... I know your kidding. You always are.
The office door slams open and Maya runs in
Maya: Of course I am!
She grabs a chair and sits in front of Phoenix’s desk.
Phoenix: Maya! So, how was your training?
Maya: Ah, well it is tough. I can’t believe I’m going to have to run that place!
Phoenix: That’s only if your mother doesn’t come out of hiding from the DL-6 Incident.
Maya: Don’t remind me of that nightmare. I mean it wasn’t her fault that her spiritual investigations were wrong!
Phoenix: Is the place still in a low civilization rate?
Maya: Not really. Ever since you cleared the Kurain technique not to be a fraud, it has been gaining members. I just wish my mom would return to the village...
Phoenix: Ah, buck up Maya.
Maya smiles
Maya: Anyway! It was nice to see my family again though.
Phoenix: It always is.
Maya pauses
Maya: So, handled any cases lately?
Phoenix: (Sadly) Not really.... Life’s been tough recently. Just struggling to pay all of the bills...
Maya: Ah... That’s too bad. But you always gotta remain positive!
Phoenix: You really haven’t changed a bit.
Maya looks around
Maya: Your office really hasn’t changed either.
Phoenix: Well with no cases lately, there hasn’t been anything to change.
Maya: Is the toilet nice and clean?
Phoenix is surprised.
Phoenix: Uh... Why do you ask?
Maya: Well you do scrub it a lot.
Phoenix: (Pauses) You are sometimes very strange.
Maya: I know. It’s my job.
Phoenix: Oh I forgot to tell you! I am going to be representing Tommy Adoe.
Maya: What? THE Tommy Adoe?! One of the survival experts on TV? I love that guy! He is one of my idols! Along with the Steel Samurai of course.
Phoenix: Ah how can I forget. Isn’t that show for kids?
Maya: It is not! It’s a very compelling story of love, hate, trust and sushi slicing powers!
Phoenix: Wasn’t it cancelled after we represented the Steel Samurai?
Maya: Yes but he is now on the Pink Princess’s show.
Phoenix: (Mumbling) I swear these kids’ shows are getting weirder and weirder...
Maya: What was that?
Phoenix: Oh! Nothing. But we’re getting side tracked. So I am on the phone with Mr. Adoe right now.
Maya: Oh okay. I’ll let you get back to that.
Phoenix turns the phone off hold
Phoenix: I’m sorry about that. Now these murder charges...
Telephone Voice: We’re sorry, the inmate you are looking for is unavailable.
Phoenix presses the button to hang up
Phoenix looks at Maya
Phoenix: Well, I guess we got to go down to the detention center.
Maya: I’m so excited! I really want to meet Mr. Adoe!
Phoenix: I don’t think he wants screaming fan girls all around him at a time like this...
Maya: Hey! I don’t scream!
Phoenix pauses
Phoenix: Let’s just go.
The screen fades to black

Phoenix and Maya sit in the seats in front of the visiting room.

Phoenix: Mr. Adoe?
Tommy looks up
Tommy: So you’re Phoenix Wright. What took you so long?
Phoenix: Oh, well Maya here came back from her Spirit channeling training to check on me. She’s been gone since December.
Tommy: (sarcastically) How touching! Well while you two reminisce, I’ll just rot here in the Detention Center!
Maya is offended
Maya: Hey! We are trying to help you here! Don’t get mad at us!
Tommy slouches in his chair
Tommy: Ugh.... I’m sorry. I’m just a little angry I got into this mess! My life has been going down a bit.
Phoenix: Well I’m not in the best situation either. But we have to work together to get us both out. So, what are the accusations about right now?
Tommy: They are saying I murdered my boss. His name is Guy Aldel.
Phoenix: Well, lets get this out of the way, did you have a motive?
Tommy: What? Do you think I murdered him?!
Phoenix: Now I didn’t say that. I need to know so I can counter it later.
Tommy: Well if I was motivated I would say it was because he fired me the day of the murder.
Phoenix: What?! You were fired!?
Tommy: Yeah, he left he a note on my desk. The note didn’t even explain why. He just fired me.
Phoenix strokes his chin with his index finger
Phoenix: Hm.... That seems a little fishy... Do you know where the letter is?
Tommy thinks for a bit
Tommy: Oh yeah! The detective took it!
Phoenix: Wait, do you remember his or her name?
Tommy: Uh... Wadfeet or something.
Phoenix: Gumshoe?
Tommy: Yeah thats it! It’s all coming back to me: Detective Dick Gumshoe!
Phoenix: Ugh... Now it’s going to be hard to get that letter.
Tommy: Well why?
Phoenix: He’s Miles Edgeworth’s pet basically. If Edgeworth doesn’t want him to give it to me, I will have trouble getting it.
Tommy: Wait, Miles Edegworth is prosecuting this case? I thought he disappeared!
Phoenix: I got a call from Detective Gumshoe. Apparently he appeared out of the blue. He said something about knowing the victim and wanted to get to the bottom of the case.
Tommy: All this stuff about murder is making me uncomfortable. I mean, I’ve killed and roasted many animals and insects in my time but murder is going way too far. He was a human being! Even though he wasn’t a pleasant one. I could never do such a thing. So let’s move the topic along. Uh... how did you guys meet?
Phoenix looks at Maya unsure
Maya: Go ahead and tell him. I’m not sensitive about it any more.
Phoenix sighs
Phoenix: Well, last year Maya’s sister Mia was murdered. Mia was also my mentor. She was murdered by Redd White. You might remember his name in the news. He was the CEO of the information gathering group Bluecorp.
Tommy: Oh yeah! I did read about that in the paper.
Phoenix: But he was also the man who ruined Misty Fay’s life.
Tommy: Oh the murder where Mr. Edgeworth’s dad died by Edgeworth’s mentor’s own hands.
Phoenix: Yes, Manfred Von Karma. After I exposed him he got the capital punishment. But I am getting off topic. Misty was Maya and Mia’s mom. The police had no leads and they used Misty to try to talk to Mile’s dad. She made a mistake and was called a fake. The Kurain Channeling Technique was called a fraud. She was ashamed and ran off. Now that I have showed that the technique was not a lie, it has been getting more members. But Maya was accused of her sister’s murder and I got her an acquittal.
Tommy: Wow. A lot of story behind me just asking how you met.
Phoenix: But it’s true!
Maya jumps up
Maya: Plus I can channel my sister to help Phoenix in court!
Tommy is snickering
Tommy: I’ll believe it when I see it.
Maya is shocked
Maya: Hey! It’s true! You’re just like those police that ruined my mother’s life all those years ago!
Phoenix interrupts
Phoenix: About the case, could you give me a letter of request for my services? It might come in handy.
Tommy: Already a head of you. I got one right here.
Phoenix: Thanks.
Tommy slips it through the holes in the glass
Phoenix turns to Maya
Phoenix: I think we should be heading over to the crime scene.
Maya: Do you even know where it is?
Phoenix pauses
Phoenix: It’s probably a good idea to ask isn’t it?
Maya: Yeah.
Phoenix turns to Tommy
Tommy: I over heard something about the crime scene being at the parking garage at the television studio.
Phoenix: Okay, thanks for all your help Mr. Adoe.
Tommy: My pleasure. Get me out of here fast okay?
Phoenix: I’ll make sure of it.
Phoenix gets up
Phoenix: Let’s go.

Up until case 4 in JFA, everyone thought Milees was dead, remember? So he couldn't be there if you want to make this slot in with the storyline. Unless you have a way of getting round it, i apologise...

Yes they only mentioned him leaving that note and him being "dead" in JFA. So it's possible for him to have left right before case 2, which was in June. The movie takes place in May.
