Sensing something was very wrong, Kristoph donned his suit jacket and pushed himself inbetween Ema Sky and gant. His voice pointed and forceful, yet with a polite edge.

"I think you're bothering Ms. Skye, why don't you.... back off." He said in a clipped tone.

Finally, after the brief staring contest and the near heart attack, Ema had decided on a course of action. 'I'll simply make a break for it! Run, as fast as I can!' After the brief spout of scientific genius, Ema began stepping back.

"B-Back off." she managed to stutter. When she attempted to run, though, she noticed a man in a purple-blue suit...jacket, she slowed her pace. The man was a blur as he tore up the stairs and hopped inbetween Mr. Gant and herself. At this point, Ema saw a bit more of him, and deduced him to be one Kristoph Gavin. '...This is no time for scientific investigation', Ema mentally scolded. She stood up straight after Mr. Gavin tried to make his point.

'He's... he's protecting me!' Ema thought with a smile. "Indeed he was!" Ema said, a little too loudly seeing as the two men were about 2 feet apart each. Still, the point was made. With Kristoph's courage in full bloom, and a nice shield inbetween her and... that man, she could ease her thoughts ever so slightly. Thanks were definitely needed, after the crisis was averted.

((I believe we're in the Criminal Affairs Department, off day, little detectives around. Let's say for continuity's sake we're a few floors below the Office, unless there are any objections.

Where's Gant? This scene is all about him and 1-5, basically. I don't feel right posting again without Gant giving a reaction, or at least acknowledging the existance of the scene.

And since I'm on a roll here, is this too much drama? I noticed earlier you guys wanted to cut down on the near-death experiences and R-rated stuff, so... I bet I could cut this, if we needed it.))

Gant finally realized who it was. Ema Skye. He stood there, motionless. Y was it that he was getting reminded of the incident again and again today? He was...undecided, confused, perplexed, all at once. He did not know what to do. And now some punk was in the room, too. Gant sputtered words out of his mouth. "H-h--hi Ema. H-h-h-oo-ow nic-ce to s--se-e-e you. Ho-hoho---ho." It was useless. He felt that he was being toyed with, someone was ruining him today. They were out to get HIM, and by the end of today, he would go mad. He stared at the punk. "who are you, and umm...do you...uh...know...Ms.Skye?" Smooth, Gant, he thought to himself. He just was so confused and helpless, if only Joe Darke never existed, his life would be so smooth, so normal. But here he was, in front of someone who he liked, more than liked, became good friends with through Lana, but that was forcibly ripped apart when Darke showed up. Starr, Skye, Marshall, Goodman, and him. A great team. And now, this. He just stood there, waiting for whatever came next.

The little detective had finally formulated a plan. Damon Gant's bout of confusion had given her just enough time to draft it out. 'I'll arrest the guy!' Short, sweet and to the point. An attempt to tilt sideways to be seen behind Kristoph ended with Ms. Skye moving back down in frustration. '...But there must be more to it than that,' She thought with a sigh. 'I think some interrogation is in order here.'

"So, Mr. Gant," Ema nearly spat when she finally uttered his name. It felt so disgusting after all he'd done. Pushing herself up over Kristoph, Ema continued on. "Didn't expect to see you, unless of course, I was on guard duty at the prison. The life of a detective, right?" Ema pushed her lapel in and out to show her badge... when she remembered she had a card and she'd put it in her scientific bag. "But of course, you aren't in prison right now," With a smirk, Ms. Skye delivered her final statement. "Shall I escort you back?"

Kristoph grinned, impressed with the young detective.

"Yes, Ms. Skye makes a great point. A small room with bars is a far better setting for an animal like you." He said, his glare icy.

God, the one time we actually need Franziska......

Gant started smirking. ho ho ho ho ho ho. It got louder. Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho. Then he blurted it out. HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO! "Well done, Ms.Skye, but Im afraid you will have to do better than that to put me back there. I got out because of my connections there. Do you think I would not be able to get out again? And again? And again? And you, Mr.....um.....Glavi, yes that is it. Glavi, really, you shouldn't be on Ms.Skye's side if I were you. Those connections could...oh...I dont know....make you lose your job." Good, he thought. This was stalling time. He could wait for HIM to get here.
