Wow! I don't know why but I did not notice when Ch 3 was posted (of the samurai arc) so I got to read 3 AND 4 in one go and all I can say is MAYA AND MATTY FOR THE WIN!!! I really hate Matt Engarde, but I love Matty. Since pairings have seemed to come up especially the 'what the authors are implying' thing, I feel like you guys are totally hinting at Phoenix/Edgeworth. But, I ship them pretty hardcore so then I thought that since when they are in character I feel that way that maybe you were just writing them in character. At least that was my way of not getting my hopes up, but since were talking about it.. P/E 4 EVA!!!!! Also I really all of a sudden like Maya and Matty. I don't really like Maggie and Gumshoe, but I don't really care, I just think that Gumshoe is too... passionate and Maggie is really just adorable with her bad luck and stuff (I <3 for life.). Anyway, I feel like I saw a little hinting at Ema/Edgey, and even though I normally don't like that pairing (it doesn't work in my mind, she's to.. fan-y, she would annoy him) I like the way you are going about it if that is what you decide to do. ANYWHO... I feel the fanart urge coming so... >.> Maybe you'll get some if it doesn't suck really bad.

Yay aki-bara's back! Far as pairings go...well, there are hints to our respective favorites, some heavier than others. XD We only included Gumshoe/Maaggey and Ron/Dessie because they're semi-game canon anyway. I'm glad that one or two of you have carried on reading despite not liking Maggeyshoe...we were worried about people leaving because of whatever pairing.

And P/E? XD Well, we did put in some stuff as a joke (like the doujin) but I like to think we've given most mixed-opinion pairings (like Nick/anyone) equal weight. I mean, Jesidres interpreted one scene as P/M...in this fic, apart from a few pairings, it's pretty much 'what the reader interprets' rather than 'what the authors imply'.

AND BLAME MERCS FOR EMA/EDGEWORTH. XD I don't like the pairing either but I find Ema ---> Edgeworth pretty hilarious. Any Ema/Edgeworth fans can feel free to see things as two-sided, though - fan interpretations are what make this thing interesting and quite possibly unique. :3

(Forgive me, I've had the worst day possible, so if I don't make sense, I'm sorry- also, if anyone get spam from my dA account, it was hacked last night, and now has been banned; so I'm without a gallery at the moment.)

So... I got to wondering- there's obviously a fanbase growing of Team Phoenix in the Project Kallisti world (universe?) and it got me thinking....

What almost automatically happens when you get a fandom? SHIPPING. Heck, we're doing it here, why wouldn't the fans in the story do the same?

So I present a couple of Doujinshis that would eventually begin to circulate in fandom. How Team Phoenix would react? I don't know. (Personally I think Maya would definitely buy a couple secretly, for her own secret enjoyment...) I also admit I didn't draw every possible ship/pairing- some, like Ema/Edgeworth, because the Scientist is behind the scenes, and probably not generally know to the public, and Matty too.

And yes, the names are purposely cheesy. Just like most real doujins.

I MAY have spent more time on one particular cover. Maybe.

xDDD Thats so f-ing amazing! I loved the Masked Love one the best. That would be the best thing ever if Phoenix one day found some doujin of their team in her room or something. Phoenix and Edgeworth look pretty awkward in their cover, it only adds to the amusement. That said... P/E FOR LIFE!!! *coff* anyway, what I'm saying is awesome job!

Oh and I totally support Aki-bara's Trucy idea. Just, however, since Kallisti takes place right after T&T, I don't think having Trucy and Apollo in it is a good idea.

And Aki, we actually have plans for the AJ characters if we manage to get that far - not in any of the upcoming arcs, since this story takes place over two or so years right after GS3's end. But once our current 'Phoenix' story (yes, there will actually be a solid main series of plotlines and a point within the next few arcs) is over, we have discussed plans for a possible 'Apollo' story that would take place either simeltaneously or right after the fourth game. Obviously we can't say much and we haven't decided a lot in terms of plot, particularly since a GS5 or GS6 would affect what our plot would be about. But we have pondered over a few powers and a few possible characters and storylines.

Don't hold us to anything - we have a considerable lot more to write with Phoenix's story too! Samurai Arc is just the beginning...

Do you mean the 'Apollo' story would be like completely cannon, and by that I mean follow the games until GS4, which would mean that Team Phoenix and them never happened, or a continuation of the AU you guys are creating? I'd much prefer if it were the later, but that doesn't mean the other is bad, I'm just curious! I don't know I'm just really into seeing like not-"hobo"-Phoenix interacting with Apollo, because I think it would really do him some good and just be cute. But then how do you introduce Trucy and Apollo without hobo-fying Nick? WHATEVER! I just have fun thinking about it and think that a Polly/Nick mentorship thing would be cool.

Now to guess for Apollo's power... Well Apollor is the god of light and music.. But then again, lets not forget "chords of steel." However, can you really do another voice related power with Meekins and Ron having their mind control and sonic whine respectively? Maybe he can talk things on fire? xD Thats just silly. Oh well, food for thought.

It would be a continuation of the AU, so we'd change the Apollo canon just a teensy bit to fit our purposes (ie, it would be assumed that powers existed during the events of AJ.) We'd have some explanations for what happens with the powers, and why everything could have happened (powers would also explain possibly a few events of AJ). We have some ideas, but we'll see if we even get there, hm? XD

See, this is why Mercs pwns me at explaiing things. I always end up revealing too much or too little. @_@ I should probably just stick to writing.

Well, as far as progress goes I've at least started on the next Chapter. Getting a Wii and spending time with family is eating into my writing time now. X3;; I haven't seen them in a while.

Sacrtria - Whee rough lineart! Looks good; Nick's wings look pretty and somehow 'natural' despite wearing his suit. I'm sure it'll help to fuel at least one area of the Kallisti fandom (looking at you, Blue Phoenix/Mystic M people XD) though like most Kallisti stuff, take that scene as you will, people.

Hmm...I had an idea for a banner. But I don't think I have the ability/time to make it. So for anyone who likes the idea, I'll throw it up for illustration.

Y'know how in cartoon openings, they have a picture with bad guys vs. good guys on the opposite sides and they're all lined up, glaring at each other and their leader(?) is sorta in front? Then there is an empty space with some energy charged background. You can have: Project Kallisti *next line* A Hero Could *next line* Save Us with nice text in the middle. I know we don't have too many villians yet, but if you could do that, it would be really cool. Sorta like this with smilies:

I don't have everyone there, but something along the lines. They could all be pointing their fingers in objection pose, and in their hero/villian getup. I really like the idea, just can't really accomplish it myself. :larry:

That'd be a really neat banner. =D Though it seems like it could get kind of large, you know...? It's probably just the smilies making it look that way. Oh, I'd be happy to do it, but I have a lot of other stuff to work on at the moment... I can't wait to see the new banner, though!

Umm...good for you. It's nice knowing someone loves to rant every once in a while.
It seems so far, Jes' is going to take the cake. But...

Maybe, just maybe, if we have any animators here? We could have an opening for our beloved Project Kallisti. I dunno. Am I being too ambitious?

Using music, sprites showing off moves both in court and on the streets, or maybe just a moving storyboard thingy. :edgy:

And you could have my banner idea at the end. Since, now that I think about it, it could get REALLY big.

I just think I ate too many insane cookies. :cookie:
