@ xNoLemonHereX: XD How low could he go, huh?

@ IlovephoenixwrightXD: Guess you'll have to reread parts of the story to find out. :D And, trust me, this will go from bad to EVEN WORSE!!!

@ Chess: Actually, it kind of was. And then I'll get to the point in my story where you absolutely can't miss another part in order to keep up with it, and everyone will be like: "Update already!" and I'll be like: "But I only try to update once a day unless there are extenuating circumstances." O_O

Edgeworth will definitely do his best. :D

Yeah, they are, and I'll really have to think about why what I plan to have happen will happen. Because, you know, everyone needs some sort of reasoning for everything they do.

@ Amy: Hee, hee~ Muchly funnily. Thank you. *Eats pies*

@ mrdean: "Screw the heart of the cards, I have money!" I could imagine Kaiba from YGO: TAS saying that.

And thank you very much.

@ blinq: Yeah. Good poker faces don't develop suddenly, but I figured AJ starts several years after PW, so he would have ample time to develop it after this story. :D

I read through the rest of it....I can kinda understand, but....hm....Phoenix with pants off?.....O.O That's......*pants* that would be just awsome....but why does he STILL not have his pants on? I mean, he could've at least put them on before the part where he was arrested! I'm not criticizing, I'm just blaming Phoenix about not having any pants at the current time. XD ....Nevermind.
Anyway, you gonna update soon?

@ IlovephoenixwrightXD: Well, can't say no to that. I'm updating as soon as I'm done making sure nothing new is happening in the millions of RPs I'm involved in. XD

And now...UPDATES!!!
Spoiler: Poems Galore Part 12
"Miley!" Maya shouted. She ran over to Edgeworth, who was now wearing the bronze attorney's badge. Yes, Phoenix's attorney's badge was bronze after Edgeworth got through polishing it.
"M-Miley?!" Edgeworth asked, a disgusted look on his face.
"Yeah! I call Nick by his nickname, so I came up with one for you!" Maya responded enthusiastically.
Oh...Great, I guess... Edgeworth thought, saying, "Miley's a stupid nickname. I hate it." He saw Maya look down, disappointed. You idiot, you thought what you were supposed to say and said what you were supposed to think. Apologize right now!
"I-I'm sorry, Maya. If you want to call me 'Miley'..." He gulped. He absolutely hated that nickname. How would he put up with something so utterly ridiculous for the day?
"Okay, I will," Maya responded cheerfully. Edgeworth summoned all the self-control he had not to sigh.
"Come on. We need to go back to the crime scene," he said rather grudgingly. Maya followed him as he walked to the boys' bathroom, since she was already in the building thanks to the poetry contest that had been postponed.

Spoiler: About This Chapter...
I know it seems to be another filler, but I don't want to divide up the investigation too much. Sorry about that.

Spoiler: Honesty Is Not Larry's Virtue Part 12
"Okay, Wright. I'm going to end this duel immediately," Edgeworth said, hearing the police siren. An officer would be there any second. There was no more time to waste.
"I activate Yangu Samurai's special ability," he continued. "Five swords. It gives my Steel Samurai to use five of my sword power-ups at once. The Storm sword, which increases his attack points by 400, the Steel Katana, which brings up his attack by 700, the Sword Of Truth, Sword of Justice, and Sword of light, which, all combined, change the Steel Samurai into his ultimate form, giving him 5000 attack points, excluding the power-ups. Now, do the math, and...He now has 6900 attack points."
"6-6900?! How?!" Phoenix asked, amazed.
"The Steel Samurai didn't have to drop his Brave Sword that gave him his 800. Add that to 700, you get 1500. Add that to 400, and you get 1900. Put in the 5000 attack points he already has, and you get..."
"A lot of trouble," Phoenix concluded.
"And now...Steel Samurai, destroy the Evil Magistrate!" Edgeworth commanded. "That would mean...You lose 4, 400 life points."
"Nooooooo!" Phoenix screamed over dramatically.
"Please, Wright. It's just a card game," Edgeworth said.
"I will beat you next time, Edgeworth! You'll see!" Phoenix shouted determinedly.
"I'd like to see you try, Wright. Now, shouldn't you get the door for the police officer outside?" Edgeworth asked.

Lol Miley's a girls name. Poor Edgeworth.
Phoenix was always going to lose that card game, he was on the back foot for the entire match, I guess he just sucks or he's really unlucky unless it's poker.
Another two good chapters.

@ Chess: XD Okey-dokey. And Edgeworth managed to get lucky for once.

@ mrdean: Yeah. Phoenix picked the worst deck. That could totally be misconstrued into something dirty... And thank you.

Spoiler: Honesty is Not Larry's Virtue Part 13
Phoenix opened the front door after trudging to it and hanging his head in defeat. He was greeted immediately.
"Hey, Nick," a familiar voice said. Phoenix adjusted his eyes.
"L-LARRY?!" he screamed, shocked.
"Woah, Nick! No need to shout! This is only my job until my artistic career takes off," Larry replied, rubbing his ears. "So, what seems to be the problem?"
You! Phoenix thought. "Edgeworth's car got stolen."
"Oh, that's terrible, Nick. Looks like he'll have to file a report," Larry responded. "Good thing I'm here to help him, huh?" He tried getting inside the offices, but Phoenix was still standing in his way.
"Larry...I don't think it's a good idea for you to come in. Edgeworth's..." Phoenix warned, but Larry disregarded him.
"Come on, Nick. Edgey wouldn't do anything to me," Larry interrupted, pushing past Phoenix and into the offices.
Bad idea, Larry...

Spoiler: Poems Galore Part 13
"Hey, pal! You're not supposed to be here!" Gumshoe shouted, running up to them. He stopped short when he saw Edgeworth. "Oh, it's you, Mr. Edgeworth."
"Indeed," Edgeworth said. "Now, what were you saying?"
"Hm...Something's different about you, sir. I can't quite put my finger on it," Gumshoe replied. Edgeworth sighed.
"I'm wearing an attorney's badge. I'll be defending Wright," he explained.
"That's it, pal! That badge! It means you're not supposed to investigate!" Gumshoe shouted.
"Let me remind you that your pay once I'm done with this trial depends on what you do now," Edgeworth said menacingly. Gumshoe's face fell.
"Well, when you put it that way..." he responded pitifully.
"How could you be so mean to Detective Gumshoe, Miley?" Maya asked.
"Maya!" Edgeworth exclaimed warningly. It was too late. Gumshoe burst out laughing.
"M-Miley?!" he asked excitedly. "That's a girl's name. Ho ho ho." Edgeworth glared at Gumshoe, and he stopped immediately. "Sorry, pal. Well, here's the autopsy report and the murder weapon. This is the most disturbing case I've ever worked, pal." Edgeworth looked at the autopsy report.
"W-whaaaaat?!" he asked, his eyes bulging. "She...No. Raped and murdered. That's..."
"Lemme see, Miley," Maya interrupted, taking the autopsy report. She cleared her throat. "Time of death: 5:00 PM.
The cause was bleeding to death due to being stabbed repeatedly in the head and chest. Evidence of rape and bruises were also found all over her arms and legs."
"I know. Disturbing, isn't it, pal? There was even a semen sample found on the body. It...Had Phoenix's DNA..." Gumshoe responded.
"WHAT?!" Edgeworth asked, shocked.
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!" Maya echoed. "That can't be! Nick would never do something like that!"
"I know, pal. But they ran the test twice in case it was a false positive, and..."
"What else, Detective?" Edgeworth asked, avoiding the subject. He remembered. Phoenix being found without his pants on. The prosecution now has a reason as to why he was pants less. A perfectly logical one, to boot.
"You're not going to like it, pal. His fingerprints were found all over the knife," Gumshoe replied sadly.
"All over...does that include the blade?" Edgeworth inquired.
"We didn't check, pal. Why would we? Nobody grabs a knife by the blade," Gumshoe answered.
"Exactly. That's why you need to check," Edgeworth said. They both stared at each other. Gumshoe sighed.
"You're right, pal. I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, here are the floor plans. You might want to ask around," Gumshoe responded.
"Thanks, Detective Gumshoe," Edgeworth said gratefully as Gumshoe left. "Don't mention it, pal."
"Great job, Miley!" Maya shouted excitedly. "We have way more information on the case than Nick would get."
"Too bad it all implicates him," Edgeworth responded with a sigh.

NICE UPDATE! As usual.
Waaaaaaaaaaaait a minute.......WHAT DOES PHOENIX RAPING HAVE TO DO WITH THE TITLE 'POEMS GALORE'? I mean, I know the story, but still.... That's a little messed up...Maybe you should change the title. I'm just saying. But apart from that, the stories are going good!

@ JasmineJustice: Yeah. Poor Gummy. And Larry is an idiot. :D

@ Marisa: Yep. Now Larry gets to know the wrath of Miles Edgeworth! ^^ And thank you. I try. XD

@ IlovephoenixwrightXD: Thank you. As for changing the title, I don't wanna spoil too much, but it stays. There will be more poems!

@ mrdean: Yeah. I love doing that. ^^ And Larry won't know what hit him. Even after it hits him, he still won't know because he is Larry. XD

@ GigaHand: Really? I don't. Just know the evidence that'll suspend the trial. :D

Less talk, Moar Update!
Spoiler: Poems Galore Part 14
"Where are we going, Miley?" Maya asked.
"To...The cafeteria. That's where most people would be at this time," Edgeworth replied.
"Okey-dokey! I wonder who else is here!" Maya exclaimed excitedly. Edgeworth sighed.
"I'm sure most people would be pretending to be witnesses for some reason or other. It's our job to find out who saw something and who didn't," he explained. "Easier said than done."
"Edgey-poo!" Oldbag shouted, running up to Edgeworth. She blushed, and gave him the enormous goo-goo eyes.
At least she's not tackling me like she usually does...
"Hello, Ms. Oldbag," Edgeworth greeted. Olbag swooned.
"Edgey-poo..." She was drifting off into another fantasy.
"Ms. Oldbag, this is very important. Did you see anything earlier?" Edgeworth asked. Ordinarily, he would avoid her at all costs, but she was the one most likely to give him the information he needed.
"Only the most attractive and classy man I ever met..." she replied dreamily. Edgeworth restrained himself from shuddering at those words.
"Ms. Oldbag, I meant...Did you see anything that might have to do with the murder?" Edgeworth clarified.
"As a matter of fact...I did see something," Oldbag answered.
I'm scared to ask this, but... "Really? What did you see?"
"Not so fast, Edgey-poo. The lady with the whip told me not to tell you anything. You'll have to find out in court," Oldbag responded.
Franziska. How did she get here so fast? And know that I'm Wright's attorney. Hm...
"Come on, Ms. Oldbag. Surely you wouldn't betray me for her, would you?" Edgeworth asked. I hope that works. I really don't want to have to up the ante.
"Edgey-poo...Of course not. I'll tell you everything," Oldbag replied. Edgeworth felt relieved, and barely managed not to show it. "Under one condition..." Edgeworth straightened up, tensely. "If you go out with me." Her eyes were bulging out of their sockets. Her cheeks were bright red. And she looked absolutely disgusting.
"Of...Course, Ms. Oldbag," he said. "Whatever you want." Not!

Spoiler: About This Chapter
Another cliffhanger. :D Anyway, the slight hesitation in Edgeworth's answer was him throwing up in his mouth a little bit. XD

Spoiler: Honesty Is Not Larry's Virtue Part 14
Larry walked through the doors of Wright and Co., where Edgeworth was waiting. He broke his composure as soon as Larry walked in. How could he become a police officer? Of all people.
"Yo, Edgey. I'm here to help you file a police report," Larry said obliviously.
"Larry..." Edgeworth began in a menacing tone, "Get out of here."
"Come on, Edgey. I can't leave a friend hanging out to dry, can I?" Larry asked.
"Leave or I cannot be held responsible for what I do to you..." Edgeworth replied.
"Dude. Did I come at a bad time?"
"ANY time is a bad time with you, Larry!" Edgeworth roared, rising up and picking Larry up by his shirt collar. "What were you thinking?!"
"About what?" Larry inquired.
"..." Edgeworth dropped Larry. "You're right. Naturally, you wouldn't have a single clue what you did wrong." He quickly regained his composure. "I apologize for forgetting how stupid of a person I was dealing with."
"Hey, no problem, Edgey," Larry said.
"Now, tell me...Where did you come up with the idiotic notion that Wright and I wanted to go out with each other?" Edgeworth asked dangerously.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Edgey," Larry replied, but he was clearly lying.
"Don't give me that," Edgeworth said, barely able to stop himself from shouting. "Someone arranged a blind date between Wright and I."
"Really? How'd that go?" Larry inquired. Edgeworth's jaw clenched. Everything did go well up until his car was stolen, but he couldn't tell that to Larry. Not in a million years.
"It was horrible," Edgeworth responded through gritted teeth. "And you set us up."
"Me? You don't have any proof it was me!" Edgeworth insisted.
"As a matter of fact, I do," Edgeworth replied. "Wright's cellphone. We call the most recent number on there, and we'll get you. Do you want to change your answer, or do you want us to play back your messages as well." The fury in his eyes would normally be enough to force anyone to break. Larry looked worried for a second, but then he put on his familiar smile.
"So what if I did, dude? It's not like anything bad came of it. It was just a practical joke," Larry said.
"Why are you here, again?" Edgeworth asked.
"Because your car was stolen, Edgey," Larry replied. "...Oh."
"That's right. That's what happened thanks to our date!" Edgeworth yelled. "So, what do you say, now, Larry?"
"Hey! Um...I wasn't the one who stole your car. I also got help from someone..."
"Wright's assistant, Maya, perhaps?" Edgeworth interrupted.
"How did you know?!" Larry blurted out.
"Because I'm psychic. Now, why did you do it? What would you gain from us going out?"
"...Nothing, Edgey. Nothing at all," Larry replied.
"Hm...Somehow, I doubt that. Some laughs...Or maybe...This was a practical joke, according to you. But why now? Why today?" Edgeworth asked.
"Wow, Edgey...You don't even know what day it is?" Larry answered. He got confused looks from both Edgeworth and Phoenix. "It's April Fools' Day."
"So, that means my car being stolen...That was a prank as well?" Edgeworth inquired.
"Nope. Sorry, Edgey."

Spoiler: Honesty Is Not Larry's Virtue Part 15
Edgeworth glared at Larry as if he was trying to bore holes in his head. Larry's head remained whole, but he fidgeted under the glare. Edgeworth, without moving a single other muscle, grabbed Larry by his shirt collar and pulled him so close, they were practically nose-to-nose.
"Give me my car back," Edgeworth ordered angrily.
"Edgey, dude, I didn't steal your car," Larry protested uncomfortably.
"Give me my car back," Edgeworth repeated even more intensely than the last time. "Or you'll buy me a new one. Same model. Same color. And that cost me $50,000, but it will cost more for you. The dealer was a good friend of mine." Larry began to sweat, an extremely worried look on his face. "I don't care how you find it, just do it." He dropped Larry, who fell on his behind with a small yelp. Then, Larry got up and brushed himself off, as if this sort of thing happened all the time.
"Hey, don't worry, Edgey. I know a guy who's good friends with a detective, man. We'll get your car back," Larry said, giving Edgeworth a thumbs-up sign. He backed away until he was out of Edgeworth's sight. Then, he ran over to Phoenix.
"Nick! Call that detective. What's his name? Dumbboot!" Larry commanded.
"It's Gumshoe," Phoenix corrected.
"Yeah. Whatever, man. I'm in serious trouble here!"

Spoiler: About This Chapter
I think this should be the last one. Unless, of course, there are any objections.

Spoiler: Poems Galore Part 15
"I saw that...Whippersnapper, Phoenix Wright walking to the bathroom with a charming man who I only met today. Then, I heard screaming from the bathroom. I ran into the boys' bathroom as fast as these old legs would carry me, and I saw that spiky-haired hooligan, holding a bloody knife in one hand. It was so indecent, lemme tell you. He didn't even have pants on. I called the police immediately," Oldbag explained.
"This...Charming man, did he have stitches down the center of his face?" Edgeworth asked.
"Ooh, you're so smart, Edgey-poo. He did," Oldbag replied. That's what I thought. I wonder if Franziska saw his calling card already? Maybe I should go back to the scene of the crime after this.
"And was Wright awake when you found him?" Edgeworth inquired.
"No, but the whippersnapper with the whip told me that he tested positive for drugs," Oldbag answered.
"What?!" Edgeworth asked, shocked. He quickly pulled out a piece of paper and a pen. "What did you say?"
"The spiky-haired whippersnapper tested positive for drugs. I knew the boy was bad news," Oldbag responded. Edgeworth scribbled the new information onto the paper, then folded it neatly and put it into the court-record.
"The scream...Was it a woman's scream?" Edgeworth questioned.
"Yes, it was," Oldbag replied. I can't think of anything else to ask at this time.
"Um...Thank you, Ms. Oldbag," Edgeworth said. He turned around to walk away.
"Where are you going?" Oldbag inquired angrily. Edgeworth stopped, but didn't turn around.
"To investigate some more, Ms. Oldbag. The trial's tomorrow. I don't want to be unprepared," Edgeworth answered.
"But we had a deal, remember? You were going out with me!" Oldbag said, grabbing Edgeworth by the arm.
"...Ms. Oldbag, I didn't mean right now. I'm sure you'll need time to get ready, and so would..."
"Don't be too sure, Edgey-poo," Oldbag interrupted. Edgeworth turned around to see her rip off her security uniform and reveal a sparkly red dress that was so low-cut, everyone could see everything above her navel. Her breasts very thinly covered. She pulled some red high-heel shoes to match. This image successfully scarred Edgeworth for life...Again.
"Erm...Wait! You can't go out with him!" Maya finally interjected. She was so unusually silent, Edgeworth had forgotten she was there.
"Whippersnapper!" Oldbag shouted.
"He's going out with me right now," Maya insisted, grabbing Edgeworth by the arm and getting a fake, dreamy look in her eyes.
"...Then, we'll double," Oldbag responded after hesitating.
"Um...Oh, you know what? Our date was actually scheduled for tomorrow night. Heh, heh..." Maya said, grabbing Edgeworth and pulling him aside. "I'm sorry, Miley. I tried. If you need me to, I'll investigate while you're being tortured."
"...My hands are tied," Edgeworth whispered back. He looked like he wanted to say more, but Oldbag dragged him away before he could add anything.

And so the saga of the date-conspiracy comes to an end... Hold it, did Phoenix and Edgeworth ever actually bring their magnificent vengeance to fruition?

Once again, poor Edgeworth. No objection to the whole 'this is the last chapter' thing. But please start writing another story. Maybe with a bit of Youtubing?

DO NOT WANT! Someone pass the brain bleach NOW! Good chapters again and I suppose I'm okay with that being the last chapter of Honesty is not Larry's virtue.

@ JasmineJustice: Sadly, no. They're too busy focusing on the car. XD

And Oldbag is so great as a Super Scarrer; she scars me for life whenever I write about her. :D

@ Chess: Thank you. And yes, Edgy's rich and poor...

@ IlovephoenixwrightXD: Of course I'll keep writing. I have a great idea for my next story! ^^ But, yeah. I'll get around to making a few shorts of Phoenix watching Phoenix Wrongs on youtube. xD

@ mrdean: Trust me, Edgy does not want, either. ^^ Thank you, and I guess I'll start writing my next story.

Spoiler: Twilight the Musical: A Phoenix Wright Production
"Nick! We have to talk!" Maya stage whispered into the phone.
"About what?" Phoenix asked.
"Pearly's birthday. It's today, Nick," Maya replied.
"Oh..."
"Don't worry, Nick! I have the perfect idea for a gift," Maya said. Then, she whispered very quietly, "Pearly's a huge fan of the Twilight Series."
Why doesn't that surprise me? Phoenix thought.
"And she already has all the books and movies," Maya proceeded.
"So, then...What is it you want to do?" Phoenix inquired nervously.
"There is one thing we could do for her: Twilight, the Musical," Maya responded.
"W-what?!"
"Think about it, Nick. It's the perfect present. The best part is that it doesn't exist yet," Maya answered.
"B-but..."
"You call in a few favors and we can make this work!" Maya whispered excitedly, interrupting Phoenix. "See you in a couple hours, Nick!" Maya hung up, leaving Phoenix to process the idea that he needed to buy costumes, call in everyone he knew to fill in the roles, and get a vocal warm-up all in two hours. This wouldn't be a good day...

Spoiler: Poems Galore Part 16
"I hope you like this, Edgey-poo," Oldbag said, sitting across the small Tres Bien table, showing Edgeworth all the wrinkled skin she possibly could.
"Ms. Oldbag..." Edgeworth responded, trying to come up with the nicest possible way to say, "You disgust me!" but failing. "Um...This is..Very nice, but I have some...Prior obligations. I'm afraid we'll have to try this again later."
"Don't be silly, Edgey-poo," Oldbag said. "You're here...With me. There is nothing else in the world that matters." She smiled, leaning towards Edgeworth, her lips puckered. Was she...going to kiss him. Edgeworth lost what little control he had and screamed.
"Ahhh!"
"What's wrong, Edgey-poo?" Oldbag asked, stopping for a second.
"I'm sorry, Ms. Olbag," Edgeworth answered, clutching his stomach. "I just...Gotta use the bathroom." He got up and ran to the Men's Room, leaving Oldbag to her fantasies. Edgeworth was thinking hard on how to ditch Olbag respectfully, but he tried every method he knew already. None of them shook her resolve. He remembered bringing up their age difference, and shivered at the memory of her response.
"I know I'm a bit older, but love knows no bounds, Edgey-poo." All he could think about was getting away. He looked at the window, and knew there was one way to leave her behind...He opened the small window and squeezed through it. This was his only plausible exit, so he didn't mind his suit getting slightly dirty from the wood chips from the window. As soon as he got out, he ran back to where the poetry contest was held, hoping he could still get in some investigation time.

@ IlovephoenixwrightXD: Yeah. Maybe even some research via youtube will be in order for Phoenix. :D

@ Chess: Yes, Edgeworth! Run away!

Well, since this is a gift for Pearl, I think Phoenix and Maya will pretty much HAVE TO be Edward and Bella. However, Gumshoe will definitely have a place in this! So will most PW characters that haven't been imprisoned or killed yet. XD

Thank you.

Bwhahahahahahaha.
I just had a really great picture in my head.
Phoenix as Edward is just funny and full of win. Although I can't seem to picture in my head Phoenix saying ANY of Edward's lines, he's got the sexy hair down.

Maya as Bella...Hmm..
Yeah. Look forward to seeing how this goes.

I am eager to see how the Twilight story will develop. Count on Lida to do a good job there...hehehe. :D

Also, I was interested in how was that revenge Edgeworth planned in the "Honesty is not Larry's Virtue" story carried out. Maybe it's just my evil side acting up again, wanting to see despair in Larry's face for setting them up like that (even though Edgeworth and Phoenix weren't that unhappy with the time they had together in the end, and it was April's Fool..).

Good job, as always, Lida~ ^^

Yeah, I'm back! *claps for self*

*silence*

...*sigh* Anyways,

Due to my unusually unholy fear of poetry, I have been avoiding this topic. It had nothing to do with you, Lida, or anyone else here. I hope you don't think I was ignoring you T.T.

I've read ''Honesty Is Not Larry's Virtue'' and I must say, it turned out very well. I like the idea of Larry and Maya being in cahoots together.

I've really missed your stories, so I've decided to return, and R+R your other stories!

It looks like you've been doing ok without me, though. I'm glad! :D I plan to stay now, though. Hope you don't mind!

And, while I'm not a fan of the series, the Twilight story looks like it'll be great! I can't wait to read more.

Sorry for not updating yesterday. Geez, it's like I get writers' block every other day now. I hope that changes soon. :D

@ Chess: Yeah! I can't wait to see how this goes, either!

@ GigaHand: He may or may not. You'll just have to see. Okay, he will.

@ JasmineJustice: Perched at the end of your seat? Well, thank you. *blushes*

@ Aliucon: Awwww, thanks, Aliucon. *Blushes even deeper* The evil plan was so perfect, but...Edgeworth wouldn't want to go anywhere by bus, so... :D

@ GDM: YAY! YOU'RE BACK! :gant-clap2:

No worries. I'm sorry to hear that, though. I hope you still read Poems Galore, as it turns into a case and stops being a poetry contest pretty early on.

Thanks! I worked hard on that.

Yay! At least you're reading most of these still. Better than none. ^^

HOOOOOOOORAAAAAAYYYYYYY! GDM'S STAYING! *Hugs*

Don't worry. I'm not a fan of the Twilight series either. :karma:
Spoiler: Poems Galore Part 17
Okay. Edgeworth's counting on me to find the answer. Poor Miley... Maya thought as she went back to the scene of the crime. Stuck with the old hag... She was trying to avoid thinking about Phoenix, who was in the Detention Center. Try as she did, she couldn't stop her mind from wandering. This case is very grim...
But so were yours, and you never did it. Nick never lost faith in you.
Maya sighed as she looked around the bathroom that was the unfortunate venue for murder. She was looking for something, anything, that would turn things around, but all she saw was the tape that signaled where the body was and the blood that seemed to be everywhere. On the mirror, on the floor, on the doors of the stalls...I guess nobody wanted to tamper with the evidence. I wonder if any of this is someone else's blood? She didn't want to walk further in there...
"Need help?" a familiar voice asked. Maya spun around to see a panting Edgeworth.
"Uh...Hi, Miley," Maya replied.
"Indeed."
"Um...How did you get away from Oldbag?" Maya inquired. Edgeworth's pupils rolled to the back of his head and he bent forward as if he was punched in the stomach.
"I did some...Unsavory things," Edgeworth replied, gaining his composure back quickly. "Anyway, looks like we have to get out of here. All the blood here is going to be tested, and the area will be clean enough to investigate afterward."
"B-but...Didn't they test the blood already?" Maya questioned.
"Yes, but merely a small sample. Not enough to determine what happened here as perfectly as Franziska would want it," Edgeworth responded. He opened the door the bathroom and bowed.
"After you."

Spoiler: Twilight: The Musical. A Phoenix Wright Production Part 2
Phoenix looked through his check list. He got the costumes. He called in the favors. He warmed up his vocals. He looked at the clock. He still had an hour before Maya and Pearl would arrive at the train station.
I can't believe I got through all that so fast, Phoenix thought. Then, he realized he had no idea what Twilight was. Figuring the book would be better than the movie, as usual, he ran to the library and checked all of them out. For an ordinary person, it would take weeks to read books that long. Good thing Phoenix had done this sort of thing millions of times before in law school and college: reading through the books really quick and remembering them only long enough to ace a test. This was exactly like that in Phoenix's mind. He didn't have to remember the books at all after putting on the show for Pearl. He got back to Wright and Co. and started reading...

Spoiler: About this chapter
Sorry it's so short. I promise the next one will be much longer as everyone enters Wright and Co.
