This is one of the best PW fanfictions I've ever read (which is saying a lot, because the PW fan fiction fandom is full of talent). I like how the "present" in the story is the future and Phoenix and Edgeworth are married and teaching law. The technology you portray in schools about 40 years from now is really creative. :) I love the concept of "memory" and how they're not really in chronological order, like recalling real memories. They just come up when the situation calls for it.

The paths the characters take and the things that happened to them are different than what I would've imagined, but it fits and you work with them so well. Your writing is amazing and this is one of the only fan fictions I've read that have actual morals that you can take away from it, like real literature should.

I love how you portray the characters, especially when they're older. This fanfic essentially fills in the blanks, so you show us sides of them that we'd never see in the game but are still fitting. I can see how much thought you put into each lengthy chapter. The latest two must have taken a great deal of research to make it accurate.

I have a bit to say about Memory 5: I laughed when I saw the "Dark Knight" and "V for Vendetta" references. I also loved it when you put in Dr. Stiles and Nurse Angie. Trauma Center! :D Nice touch. At one point in Mia's conversation I almost cried. ;_; And that was one of the most powerful scenes so far. "Powerful", just as Phoenix described Mia. And in the hospital room scene I wanted to crush Kristoph almost as much as Phoenix did! XD Poor Apollo, he's so unaware.

There's some parts I hope you'll write; particularly what happened when Phoenix and Edgeworth met again after they realized they loved each other. I can't wait for further installments in this incredible fic! :D

When I read the prologue, I almost cried because of these lines:

“I know. He even asked me about that.” Miles sighed and gave up on Phoenix’s hair, then wrapped his arms around Phoenix’s waist. It wasn’t as slim as it once was—though they both tried to stay healthy. They kept trying to one-up each other to have the least stomach paunch. Miles smiled and buried his nose in Phoenix’s hair, closing his eyes.

“I can’t believe how old we’re getting,” Phoenix said quietly. He was still picking out that damned song; what was it called…?

“Oh, hush. We’ve years and years yet ahead of us.”

For a fic to make me cry is worth keeping it in my tabs. You have actually plucked on the weakest strings in me. X3
