First off, Before my fic, I would like to say this happens about 6.5 months after the end of Apollo Justice, the main part anyway. This is in essence part of my ideas for GS5, and since they are, in essence, my ideas, I will write them here. This is my story and if (when) I turn out wrong about GS5, the story becomes a "what if?", like most fanfics are. The story is told from a first-person perspective, from Apollo's point of view, unless it is specified otherwise.

All right. Let's start.

The False Turnabout

I was 18 years old. Just graduated from high school. My teachers told me I had a knack for finding out when people were lying in class, about missed assignments or otherwise. I didn't know it yet, but that "knack" of mine would become my most powerful tool in my field of work. What is my field of work, you may ask? Well, I'm a defense attorney. Well now anyway. I was just beginning to study law and decided to watch a trial held at my home town's district court. I guess that's where my career truly started, after all that's when I met him.

District Court
Courtroom No. 5

Judge: I hereby begin the trial of Mr. Foe Faux. Are the defence and prosecution prepared?
Kristoph: The defence is ready, your honor.
Payne: The prosecution is ready, your honor.
Judge: Will the Prosecution give the details of the case please?
Payne: The victim's name is Anne Cinco, age 40. She was killed by srangulation; she was choked to death. Her body was found lying face-first in the muddy playground of Pre-V High School.

Apparently, Mrs. Cinco was a widow who worked at the school she died at. The defendant was also a student at Pre-V. He was 17 years old, and was very well built. He obviously got a lot of attention from the ladies, something I never got too much of. Apparently, Mrs. Cinco was one of Mr. Faux's teachers, and one who gave Mr. Faux relatively bad marks, but that's not nearly enough to kill someone over, is it? Next, the prosecutor whose name escapes me gave his opening statement.

To Be Continued
