Chapter 1
Apollo sat that day, cooped up in the Wright Everything Offices. He was filing paperwork and listening to the radio. Out of no where came on the song, “She Blinded Me with Science.” Apollo grinned to himself and whispered, “Ema.” That song was the most appropriate, fitting song for Ema that anybody could come up with. He glanced out the window at the pouring rain, dripping from the gutters and pitter-pattering on the rain-dappled glass. Since Trucy was at the movies with a friend and Mr. Wright was out getting grape juice, he thought to himself aloud.
“She’s probably dreaming up some way to catch the rain and test it to see the chemicals in it,” he said, chuckling quietly. “OR! She’s probably ordering a machine that does something with the mud to see how its thickness and stuff contributes to the amount of rain or something crazy.”
He was three quarters of the way finished, so he decided to e-mail Ema. Hey, Ema. I’m dying of boredom (is that possible?) filing these stupid court records and stuff. Just wrote to relieve my weariness. See ya. He clicked the ‘SEND’ button, and off the message flew into the world of cyberspace. To wait for a reply, he started to play a round of Cake Mania, and then the computer shook with the mechanical man’s voice of Microsoft Sam saying, “One new message.” Apollo opened up the e-mail window, to see a short message from Ema.
Hey, Pollo. I’m bored too. This rain stops me from doing any scientific investigating. And work is on hold because there are no new cases. Wanna come over and watch TV or something? Or I could come there, who cares? c u l8r, Ema:). P.S. I’m not sure about the dying of boredom thing:(.
“Wow. She can’t scientifically investigate in the rain?” Apollo was deeply in shock. But, he still sent her a response. Ok, come over. I pity your lonely unscientificness. See u soon. Apollo He sent it, almost immediately getting a response. OK! :) I’ll see u in a few minutes.
About ten minutes or so later, Ema arrived at the door, grinning broadly. “Hello!” she basically shouted, waking Apollo from a state of sleep. She walked in after Apollo, observing the place intently. She walked around and stared at some items, nodded at others. Then she stepped back, and smile with all of her sparkling white teeth showing. Funny, he thought. I thought they’d be encrusted with Snackoos.
“So,” she said, disturbing his thoughts. “I suppose Trucy did the decorating?”
Apollo grinned sheepishly. “Yes.”
“I like it,” said Ema, surprising Apollo genuinely.
“So, care to sit down?” Apollo replied, gesturing to the red couch. Ema, in response, dropped down on the couch, making her lab coat flutter about for a minute. Apollo switched on the TV, and, somehow, they ended up watching cartoons. Then, they just started joking around and laughing. Apollo was truly having fun. Then, Trucy walked in.
“Hiya there, Polly!” she shouted.
Ema and Apollo turned around and looked at Trucy. Trucy flushed beet red.
“Oh, hi, Ema!” she stammered. “I’ll just—BYE!”
She scrambled to her room, still blushing. Ema laughed heartily, and Apollo let out a chuckle, too. Ema looked cute in that light at the moment, or so Apollo thought. He brushed the idea away, though. Ema finished sniggering and let out a sigh.
“Ooh, that Trucy. She’s so cute.”
“Yeah, but she definitely is going to make a big deal of this and tell Mr. Wright.”
“Ah, who gives a crap?”
“Point taken,” replied Apollo.
Ema stood up. “I should go.”
“No, Ema. Stay for dinner. Mr. Wright’s out shopping now.”
“Hmm, I thought Trucy would take care of something like that,” she pondered. “Anyway, I wouldn’t impose on you.”
“Nah, it’s fine. Besides, Trucy probably received quite a shock at seeing us together.”
“Yeah, I’ll go talk to her.”
“Hey,” said Apollo.
“Yeah?”
“You should tell her about you and Klavier.”
“APOLLO!” she screamed furiously. “IT WAS ONE TIME! AND I WAS DRUNK!”
“Okay…” said Apollo skeptically.

Sad to say, I've left C-R. I may still occasionally come on, but, y'know...
I just lost interest, but, this is still an awesome site.
I'll live on through my sprites, I hope. And my major contributions to the Max fanclub. ^_^
