This is my first story involving Phoenix and the gang. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Here it is Chapter 1:

April 20 4:30 PM
District Courthouse
Defendant’s lobby Room No. 3


“Boy…What another exhausting trial.” I said tiredly.

“Well, of course you’d be tired, Nick! Franziska Von karma kept on whipping you! I’m surprised you didn’t faint!” said the girl who was next to me.

Well, before I go any further with my story, I should introduce myself first. My name is Phoenix Wright. If you can’t tell by now I’m a semi-famous defense attorney. But in all honestly, I don’t see the big deal. I’m just doing my job protecting people from unjust accusations.

“Nick? Are you even listening to me?” said the girl again.

“Huh? Oh sorry…” I said.

This girl next to me is Maya Fey. She’s only 19. Her occupation is sort of complicated. She’s a… how can I say this. She’s a spirit medium. I’m not joking. She comes from a line of females able to channel dead spirits. It’s called the Kurain Channeling Technique. I’ve seen it plenty of times. Like when she channels her sister, and my mentor, Mia Fey.

Speaking of Mia, let me tell you how she died…

“NICK!? Let’s go get some burgers! And what are you pondering on about?” Maya said.

“Sorry… Yeah your right. That trial left me pretty starving too. It went on to long.” I said.

I guess I’ll talk to you about Mia later. Oh yeah one more thing. Maya loves burgers. I just hope I have enough money to pay for it. *whimpers*

Just when I thought everything was going well something happens to me that I can’t explain… yet.

“I’m going to get the double-cheese burger with loads of fries! Oh! And a milkshake too!” she said while clapping her hand and smiling.

“You’re going to get fat you know. All I see you eat are burgers and ramen. You need to eat more vegetables and fruit. Like… Here you go.” I said while paying for two apples. I handed one to her.

“Do I have to eat it? I mean I’ll eat it after the burger.” Maya said with a smile.

I bit into my apple. Has it really been this long since I’ve had an apple? And it just so happens to be my favorite kind too, the red ones.

“You… *munch* …need to *munch* *swallow* eat healthier, Maya. I thought spirit mediums need to be at top physical condition?” I said as I ate my apple.

She looks at me. Right at that moment she did the look that I despised most. Puppy-dog eyes. I tried to look away. But that didn’t work. I already saw it. How I loathed that look.

“Fine! But this is the last time that I’m paying for your meals. You got it?!” I actually tried not to yell. But I’m sick and tired of paying for her meals. I have to eat too.

“Yes, sir! I got it loud and clear, Nick. This will be the last time.” she said smiling.

Once Maya and I were in front of the restaurant, I stopped. While I took out my wallet Maya went inside without me. I looked into it. Only ten dollars were in it. I then shouted:

“HOLD IT!!” I really don’t know why I said that. I mean I’m not in a trial or anything like that. “Maya! You better order off the dollar menu!” I ran right into the place and then…
Too late. She already ordered what she said she would. I whimpered.

“That would be $6.75, please.” I gave the cashier the money. “Thank you! Here’s your change.” the cashier said. I grabbed my change and sat down with Maya. I looked at her with a mad look on my face. If looks could kill she would be dead right about now.

“Do you realize how much money you owe me now? Remember. This is the last time. Okay?” I said to her knowing that my wallet is hurting.

“Don’t worry Nick. I’ll pay you when I get the cash. I have it taken care of.” she said.

I looked out of the window. ‘Weird,’ I thought, ‘It’s supposed to be sunny. Now it’s all cloudy.’ I stopped thinking about and saw that Maya was already done with her food.

“Let’s get out of here now. I have to see if there’s another trial waiting for me.” I felt so tired. Sometimes I just wish how it feels to not be a lawyer. ‘Maybe I should have been an artist like I planned in college.’ I thought again. I sighed. I walked outside and the wind was so powerful. I had to put my arm out in front of me to keep dust from my eyes. Next thing I know I tripped and banged my head on a wall and was knocked out…I think.

A few hours later…

‘Oww…My head feels like it’s on fire. Where am I? Am I dead or knocked out?’ I thought to myself. Then I hear a voice.

“Hey! I found him! He fell asleep by a tree!” the voice said.

I didn’t recognize the voice. “Who are you? Where am I?” I said.

“What are you talking about sensei? You were training us! You fell asleep didn’t you!?” another voice said.

This voice was more feminine but it wasn’t Maya.

“Sensei? Who’s your sensei? I’m not…” I stopped.

I didn’t recognize any of these people.

This is a really interesting idea that I don't think I've seen it before. I'm looking forward to finding out who he is now (sorry if that's supposed to be obvious but I really can't figure out who'd body he's in )

Chapter 2


“Sensei? I’m no sensei! My name is…what is my name?” I said.

“What the hell is wrong with you!? Your Kakashi-sensei! You know our teacher.” the blonde haired boy said.

I looked at him. His hair was not brushed (that’s what it seemed to me) and he had three marks on each of his cheeks. He wore some sort of jumpsuit. And he was also obviously color blind because blue and orange don’t go together.

‘Where am I?’ I thought again. I got up and tried to walk. I walked right into a tree. “Oww!!” That was when it struck me. My left eye was covered…with something.

“Sensei…Are you okay? You don’t seem like yourself.” It was that feminine voice again. I looked at her. She had shiny, pink hair. She had some sort of head band. When I saw her she reminded me of Maya.

“Who are you guys? And once again, where am I?” I told them.

This time the boy with jet-black hair sighed. “Did you drink too much last night Kakashi-sensei? You don’t even remember us. Your own students. Just cut the crap and get sober. I heard the Hokage wants us for a mission.”

“Okay. I’ll play along. But I have two questions. One, what is a hokage? And two, why is my left eye covered? I don’t remember ever having a problem with my eye.” I asked.

The boy with the black hair just stared at me. That was when I saw something weird happen. His eyes went from black to red. It’s like he was peering into my soul.

“Hmm…If you want to know about your eye just look into the river. You’ll see why.” he said.

I didn’t trust him. Or any of them for that matter. But I decided to do what he said and just looked into the river.

“Oh my god!” I yelled. I couldn’t believe it. I know it’s me…but the body isn’t me at all. I looked into the reflection again. “This isn’t me! What happened to my black spiky hair, my blue suit?! Everything’s gone!” I said as I curled up into the fetal position. But then I realized something.

“Hey. If this isn’t my body why do I still have a blue eye? You! Kid with the pink hair!” I yelled out.

She looked stunned. “Kakashi-sensei…I have a name. It’s Sakura, don’t you remember?” she said sadly.

I didn’t even listen to what she said. “What color was your sensei’s eyes?” I asked her.

“Uhh…I believe they were black or some shade of gray, the other was red. Why do you want to know?” Sakura asked me.

“I have the answer to that. This isn’t Kakashi-sensei. Who the hell are you and what have you done with Kakashi?” The black haired kid said again.

“I’ll only introduce myself after you guys do.” I said sternly.

“Fine. My name is Uchiha. Sasuke Uchiha. I’m apart of the well-known Uchiha clan whose special ability is called the Sharingan. It’s a special ocular ninjutsu that can send you into a different dimension or copy techniques.” he said.

I had no idea what he meant by “ninjutsu” or “Sharingan”. All I did was nod my head. I looked at the boy with the blonde hair.

“Uhh…I guess it’s my turn. My name is Naruto Uzumaki. I’m a kick-butt ninja! And the main thing I want is to become hokage and have everybody treat me with respect! I also like ramen and jokes.” he said with a smile on his face.

“Okay. Now, what about you? Upon meeting a girl always ask her for her name and occupation…Gak!!” I said. ‘I’ve been hanging around Godot to long…’ About Godot, he’s a coffee addict who loves to torture me in court. That’s all about him for now.

“Well…You sure a gentleman mister. My name is Sakura Haruno. I guess you can say that I’m a ninja.” She said while blushing.

“My turn. My name is Phoenix Wright. I’m an attorney of law in a city called Los Angeles. My purpose is to protect those who are falsely accused of doing crime.” I said proudly.

They just stared at me blankly.

Meanwhile in an alternate world…

“Ughh…Is this what I get for drinking and falling asleep under a tree. Man, does my head hurt.” I said.

Then I heard something. Sounds like a girl crying. It isn’t Sakura or Anko. Who is it?

“Nick! Can you hear me!? Don’t cross the river! Don’t go into the light! Wake up!” she said.

“Whose ‘Nick’? My name isn’t Nick.” I said.

The girl just looked at me. Then she stared into my eyes.

“Why are your eyes two different colors? Who are you? What happened to Nick? Where are you from?” she bombarded me with questions.

“Ack! One question at a time. Please. First, it’s complicated- how did you know I have two different colored eyes?” I asked.

She pulled out a mirror. I looked into it. ‘This isn’t my body, look, or hair.’ I thought. The only thing that was the same was my left eye. One was blue the other was red. Other than that everything was different.

I just thought to myself before answering her next couple of questions. “My name is Kakashi Hatake. I’m from a place called the Leaf Village. And I don’t know what happened to this person called ‘Nick’. Maybe you should tell me a little about him, seeing that I’m not returning home for quite a while. I may need to live as him for the time being.” I said cooly.

“Umm…Okay, Mr. Hatake. Maybe I should introduce myself first. My name is Maya Fey. I’m 19 and I’m Nick’s…I mean Phoenix Wright’s assistant. But my main occupation is that of a spirit medium from the Kurain Channeling Technique.” she said.

I nodded my head. “Okay. Now tell me about Mr. Phoenix Wright.”

“Let’s see…Nick is a lawyer at Wright and Co. Law Office. He is so far undefeated in court. He is also a bit dense when it comes to some things. Nick is also 26 years old.” Maya said with a smile.

“Hmm…So he’s the same age as me. Well honestly my guess is that we somehow switched bodies. Back at home I was napping under a tree. Tell me what happened to him.” I asked.

I think you captured the reactions of party's well. I actually don't think I've seen the anime' that Phoenix has swapped into, accidentally. Still, this promises to be interesting so I'll keep reading it anyway.
