Hello!
I was working on a poetry book for school and in doing so, it sparked my poetry-creative-ness.
Haha, well here is one I wrote about Hobo!Phoenix and Trucy. I hope you enjoy it!
~~~~~~~~
A man walks ever so slow
Looking like he has no place to go
He grips his hat upon his head
The pain in his legs, which feel like lead
Is nothing of the bitter loss
Of a job he had, a badge he tossed
Perhaps another drink will help
But then he hears a cry, a yelp
He forgets the pain and runs to the sound
Where he finds a girl, laid on the ground
She clutches her knee, and cries with fret
Her forehead drips with frightened sweat
He bends down to offer a hand
To help the girl get up and stand
She smiles slightly and accepts
And tries to take a few steps
The man grins with relief
Glad that the girl has no more grief
The small girl pulls the man into a hug
And the man hugs back, warm and snug
Daddy, the girl says, fixing her hat
Where did you go? Where were you at?
The man smiles gently, a tear in his eye
No where important, he assures with a sigh
The girl grabs his hand and lets out giggle
And pulls out her wand, and gives it a jiggle
Here Daddy, she says, holding out a flower
I think you need this, you look kinda sour
The man accepts the gift and cries
The tears flowing gently from his blue eyes
Now Daddy, the girl scolds with a frown
I think you ought to tell me what's getting you down
He grins through his tears, and rubs his neck
Well, he says, I'm a bit of a wreck
You see, Truce, I don't really think
That I've been a very good daddy, he says and she blinks
What're you saying, you silly thing?
She laughs and says, Who else would help me sing?
Who else would tell me it's all okay?
Who took me in when I had no place to stay?
Well, he admits, I suppose that was me
But I still don't think a father is something I can be
If you aren't a good one, she says with a smile
I don't think I would've stayed for a while
So cheer up, Daddy, don't wear a frown
Because your the best daddy for me in this town!
The man bends down, and pats her head
Thank you Truce, but now it's off to bed.
Thanks, Vicki, for the sig!
Am I the only one that wants to make Phoenix Wright a FULL RPG? So I can go play PW2 again and make sure I DON'T tell poor Edgeworth to STAY DEAD?!
