It was Christmas at the Wright and co. Law offices and Phoenix Wright was enjoying Christmas with all his friends there: Maya, Pearl, Miles, Franziska, Larry, Iris, Godot and even Gumshoe and Maggey.
“Niiiiiiiiick! Can we open our presents yet please?” Asked Maya while pouting. She was so eager to open her gift. She made her way to her present and eyed it carefully, trying to figure out what was in it.
“Not yet, Maya. Don’t spoil it all! You’ll all get to open your gifts soon. “ Said Phoenix while grabbing Maya’s arm and accidentally dragging her onto Edgeworth and Maya and Edgeworth both ended up under the mistletoe.
“Mr. Nick! Look at what you did now! Mystic Maya is going to have to kiss someone else that’s not you! You’re Mystic Maya’s ‘special someone’! How could you!” Pearl said with tears forming in her eyes.
“Pearls, me and Maya weren’t meant to be together. It’s just your imagination. Doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. Me and Maya are like brother and sister and nothing more. Ok Pearls?” Said Phoenix.
“Ok Mr. Nick. I’m sorry.” Said Pearl. Pearl and Phoenix turn around to see Maya grabbing Edgeworth by the cravat and kissing him.
“Heh. Looks like we’re seeing a couple after this party.” Said Phoenix while Maya and Miles were blushing.
“This place is full of foolish things.” Said Franziska.
“What’s so ‘foolish’ about it? I mean who knew that a tiny plant could bring two people so close together.” Said Phoenix.
“Hey Maggey, Do you want to try it out?” Asked Gumshoe with his face practically begging Maggey to come with him under the mistletoe.
“Yes sir. It would be my honour.” Said Maggey as Gumshoe dragged her under the mistletoe.
“Looks like that thing is going to be very busy tonight.” Said Phoenix while chuckling.
“I am not going to end up under that foolish thing!” Said Franziska angrily.
“You never know what’ll happen.” Said Phoenix. Suddenly her whip lashed across his face.
“I said I am not going to end up under that foolish thing.” Said Franziska while smirking at the sight of him clutching his face.
“Yo Nick. Do you think I can have a turn under it? I’m so getting Iris to kiss me today!” Asked Larry.
“Well as long as it’s not occupied by someone else, sure I guess.” Said Nick. His mistletoe is going to be working quite a lot today. Then Larry dragged Iris under the mistletoe and they kissed.
“Ok everyone, time to open your gifts!” Announced Phoenix while moving next to the Christmas tree.
“The first one is for you Maya.” Said Phoenix while handing her her present.
“Thanks Nick!” Said Maya as she unwrapped her gift. “EEEEEEP! It’s the Steel Samurai season 11! Thanks Nick! I always wanted to see it!” Said Maya happily as she went next to the T.V and was about to put the video in.
“Wait Maya. We have to give everyone their gifts. Here you go Pearls this one’s for you.” Said Phoenix while handing her the present.
“Yay! The Steel Samurai action figure deluxe with built in phrases! Thanks Mr. Nick! You’re the best!” Said Pearl while hugging Phoenix.
“Next up is Edgeworth. Here you go, buddy.” Said Phoenix while handing him his gift.
“Ah a new cravat. Thank you, Wright.” Said Edgeworth as he changed his cravat.
“Larry, your turn.”Said Phoenix as he handed Larry his gift.
“Sweet! How to get a girl in 30 different ways! Thanks buddy!” Said Larry as he opened the book and started reading it with complete attention.
“Hey Gumshoe. Got you something to.” Said Phoenix as he gave Gumshoe his gift.
“Wow! A reservation for a fancy restaurant for two! Thanks, pal.” Said Gumshoe happily.
“Hey Iris. I got you a gift too. Hope you like it.” Said Phoenix.
“Wow Feenie, a new hood! Thank you!” Said Iris happily as she tried on the hood.
“Hey Godot or should I call you Diego? Your turn for a gift.” Said Phoenix.
“Well well Trite. Different supply of new coffee blends. I’m impressed that you could give me such a great gift after all I’ve done to you.” Said Godot, amazed at the friendly gesture.
“It’s nothing. You were my chief’s boyfriend after all.” Said Phoenix. “Ok. Last but definetly not least, Franziska, I got you a gift too.” He said as he grabbed a small box and was handing it to Franziska.
“What is this foolishness, you fool?” Franziska asked as she saw the present in his hand.
“A Christmas gift for you. Come on take it!” Phoenix said persistently. Franziska looked at him, amazed that he’d get her a gift after all the torture she put him through. She took the box and slowly opened it and found a necklace with the gem the same colour as her brooch and her gems on her sleeve.
“Thank you Phoenix Wright, I don’t know what to say.” She said while putting on the necklace he gave her.
“It’s no problem. Anything for friends!” He said while smiling happily.
Suddenly Miles pushed Phoenix While Maya pushed Franziska under the mistletoe as they looked at each other while muttereing ‘success!’
Phoenix and Franziska were looking at each other and looked up to see the mistletoe on top of them.
“Looks like the mistletoe is working it’s magic one last time.” Said Phoenix as he leaned forward to Franziska and closed the distance between their lips while everyone was cheering in the background.
Phoenix pulled away and said: “Merry Christmas everyone!” As he kissed Franziska again.
