"Nick!!!"
Phoenix hears a shout coming from the entery of the office.
He looks back and sees Maya, running twards him.
"Nick Nick Nick!! Look at me! Don't you think I look nice?"
She stands, her knees bent and she's smiling.
She's wearing her casuall acolyte training suit, and wearing a red Santa miter.
Phoenix checks her out as he stands up.
"Yea, it really fits you!" he answers, smiling.
"So you think I can come to the Christmas party tonight wearing this?"
asks Maya, pointing at the miter and smiling.
"A Christmas party tonight?..what the...?" thinks Phoenix as he suddenly realizes.
"Oh, uhm yea, the party tonight..!"
"You completely forgot haven't you?" asks Maya as she sighs
"Well, not quite.." answers Phoenix
"Oh.. okay!" answers Maya "Then I'll see you tonight! You'll pick me up at 9:30 as usuall!"
"Wait.. but.." Phoneix tries to comment but Maya is already gone.
"God.. this girl drives me crazy.." chatters Phoenix.

It's stormy and rainy outside, and it's very cold.. December 24th was always known as a very risky day to go out on.
"Nick!!"
Phoenix hears a call from out of his car.
He looks to his right, it's Maya.
Maya is storming into the car, folding her umbrella as fast as she can.
"It really is rainy outside!" she sais, blowing hot air into her hands, warming them up.
"Isn't it?.." asks Nick.
"Kurian village looks so different in this cloudy, rainy weather.." thought Phoenix.
"Okay okay! Let's go!" shouts Maya energetically
"We'll never make it on time.. it's past 10!" answers Phoenix.
"Drive fast!!" Maya offers and pushed the car's horn.
"Stop it!" says Phoenix and starts the car.
"You know Nick, this black suit fits you better then the regular blue one"
says Maya, fixing Nick's tie.
"Well then maybe I should start wearing it for court?"
"Yea yea! Do it!" shouts Maya.
"Sit down.." sighs Phoenix.

"Is it here?" asks Maya, sticking her face to the car's window.
"Seems so" answers Phoenix, as he parks the car nearby the house.
"It's hugeee!!!" says Maya, impressed.
"Isn't it?" says Phoenix as he exits the car, opening his umbrella.
He slowly walks towards Maya's door and looking at the house.
"It really is big.." he thinks as he opens the door.
"Lets go Nick!" she says and slam the car's door.
"Please be careful.." he says, as they walk to the huge building together.
"Wow! Even the door looks expensive!" says Maya "Ring the bell Nick!"
Phoenix lands his hand to a button set in the wall.
A bell sound is heard from inside the house, barerly heard because of the rain.
"Just a moment!" answers a manly voice from the other side of the door.
30 seconds pass and the door won't open, when all of a sudden a slam is heard.
"Woah! what was that?!" asks Maya, scared,
Suddenly, a scream from within the house is heard.
"Back off!" says Nick and pulls a gun out of his coat.
He shoots the door's handle and the door slowly opens.
A bloody body of an adult man is lying on the floor, spilling the blood out of the house and to the cold snowy street.
"What the.." asks Phoenix.
Maya screams.
