(( Just making sure. )) "Mmm." Klavier sighed, one part drowsy and two parts happy. He leaned against his brother's chest, preventing Kristoph from driving. "You're warm," he said, and smiled. After a moment, of course, Klavier moved, enabling Kristoph to drive again. As he did, however, Klavier put his left hand on top of Kristoph's right, the hand currently maneuvering the gear shift. "I'm so glad I came to America," he said. "Being here, with you...it's like a fairytale." He laughed, knowing how corny that was, but unable to express how truly grateful he was to be here. |

"I think the only thing I want is for this hotel to appear faster," he said, returning his older brother's wink. The turning-to-see-the-back-of-the-car-idea, however, was causing his head to spin. Apparently, there was still a touch-or, more likely, more than a touch-of alcohol in his bloodstream. |

(( Okay...It's winter...That took me a while to pick up on... )) Klavier was about to agree with his brother's former statement, but realized that that probably wasn't something he was supposed to be agreeing with. Or even hearing. So, instead, he thought of Kristoph's latter point, and laughed. How ironic. He'd spent the better part of his life waiting to be as "old" as Kristoph, as "mature" as Kristoph, as "able to go out and see the world" as Kristoph. The idea of Kristoph waiting for days and days for him was...Well, he couldn't put a name on it. |

"It was...frightening, almost, without you at home. Luckily, I had the band, and all, but it was different growing up." And then, softer. "I feel safer, now, with you here." |
