Apollo had only sat down and was quickly tugged away by none other than von Karma herself, deep down he knew this would probably happen. Actually he still wasn't very sure about doing this in the first place, but just sit down and watch probably.

Krissi nodded as he took another puff, holding the smoke in a little longer than normal, mainly due to Franziska's bad mood. He let it out with a sigh and slight smile. "Please....just..... lighten up." He said, rolling his eyes at Franziska. "If Apollo wants to stay, let him."

Franziska swished the smoke that Phoenix Wright blew near her from her area, releasing her grip on the assistant, and sneered. "Well I'm so sorry for your woes. I guess you didn't get the memo from God when you left your mother's womb that life is quite a bitch and that if you don't like it then feel free to leave at any time you want. But in case you didn't notice you two aren't the only ones with damn problems. I've been working my ass off almost every single day before I even got into my first menstrual cycle. Papa was considered to be mentally unbalanced and attempted to drag both myself and my little brother down that same road. Using drugs was a quick escape but we never came to that point because we knew that it would mess both of us up far more than Papa could ever hope of doing."

She shook her head in dismay. "I will go by the term 'whatever' in this case and drop it. It is your personal decision whether you want an early retirement from everything. But do me a favor," she paused, turning on her heel, "if you want to do such a thing then pick a much faster drug to do it so I don't have to look upon your foolish faces any longer." With that she left the three without so much as a slash of her whip.

Franziska paused and quickly sent a whip slash toward Kristoph, swiftly retrieving the fall of the whip before Kristoph got a chance to snatch it again. "And to think I was going to leave you with some pity. What an utterly foolish moment of weakness for me." With that she turned and left again, hoping to find Maya Fey wherever she was at this moment.

Klavier had gotten tired of waiting. Neither Apollo or Kristoph had returned, and the day started to get as slow as it was back home. Franziska left, so there wasn't much female activity going on, until his eyes set on a girl with hippie clothes watching over a computer. Klavier thought back and remembered that she had been in the same area when he first entered. She might help pass some time. He thought as he approached Maya slowly, leaning his arm on the monitor.

"I don't think I've seen you around, Fraulein. Are you a new employee?" He smiled, noting that her clothes looked like she wasn't a local in the area.

Maya quickly minimized the website she was on and turned to quickly, bumping into Klavier.
"Uh, I'm just here 'cause Nick asked me to come..." Maya stuttered. Speaking of Nick, where is he!? Maya felt her fingers become jittery. Sure, he was cute, but was she exactly his type?

Klavier chuckled at her clumsy behavior. She seemed nervous, but it's what he's seen from women in his presence. When she mentioned the word 'Nick', he pondered for a second. "Ah! Your a friend of Herr Wright, ja? He's a good man." He said, hoping that she hadn't known that he was the one who got Phoenix disbarred.

When she mentioned his band, it was like she was stroking his ego. He played with his hair and smiled. "You know alot, for not being a local." He joked before looking back at the girl. "Ja, were pretty popular compared to how it was a few years back. The band members are okay, yet theres an exception to the second guitarist." He said, referring to his friend and comrade, Daryan.

A familiar smell floated around the room. Something that caused Klavier to turn towards his brother quickly, wide eyed. He looked back towards Maya, regaining his composure. "Will you excuse me, Fraulein?" He said before grabbing his brother by the sleeve and pulling him to a non-populated part on the room.

"Do I smell Dooby snacks? Krissi! What the fuck are you thinking? You could have gotten caught! That smell is really strong, people might notice!" He lectured, worried about his brothers mental status.

Maya tried to listen intently to what Klavier was telling her, but she was impatiently waiting for him to leave so that she could go back to her forum pals.

"One exception?" Maya perked at this paticular point, but he left before he could answer her question. Maya shrugged and went back online, wrinkling her noise to an awfully foul odor in the air. She violently started coughing. She could barely stand the smell of charcol smoke (unless it was on a barbeque for burgers); however, something was different about this paticular smell. She started to run towards wherever the bathroom was or a drinking fountain when she suddenly bumped into...

"What do you mean, "Phoenix Wright's bad habits"...!" Maya choked out her words, trying to not raise the lady's temper. Maya stiffened with realization.
"No, Nick would never... He's causing this awful smell!?" Maya yelped. She immediately began to cough after her outburst. Maya wasn't sure what was so different about this smoke that made it feel like her throat was closing up. Don't tell me I'm allergic to whatever that stuff is... Maya thought fearfully. She leaned against the wall the try to catch her breath; at least the smoke was slightly less intense here.

Maya tried to think of when Nick could have started this habit. I suppose it was after I left... she thought to herself. She wished that she hadn't gone back to Kurain Village. Well, looks like Nick doesn't need my help anymore... she thought bitterly.

"Franziska, are these files that you need to look for happen to be in an area where the smoke isn't so prevelent?" Maya choked. Before I suffocate...

"What's bad? What's bad is that you could get your ass thrown in jail for lighting up in a public area! You know better then that. I don't do it unless it's a private place, where nobody cared to check whatever the fuck I would be doing. I care about my job, and I'd like it if you did too." Klavier continued his lecture, placing his hand in front of his face, showing that he was extremely worried.

The smell was the first thing that needed to be hidden. Also, Kristoph's jacket wasn't on, so the smell could be stuck on there, wherever the crime was being done. Klavier had to at least protect his brother, even though his stupidity was greatly showing. Klavier started formulating a plan, hoping it would do any good.

Franziska noticed how sporadically Maya was trying to catch her breath. Oh great, don't tell me I have to call an ambulance?! Biting her lip lightly she gently took Maya's hand and looked toward another corridor behind her. "Lets go that way. There's should be windows near there so we can get you some fresh air."

From her position she heard the echoes a young prosecutor scorn his older brother for smoking marijuana and shook her head at his words. Too late to say they might be caught, Klavier Gavin.

She would have to ignore them for now. The chemicals were obviously reacting to Maya Fey badly. "Follow me and if you think that the area that we go to is still lacking fresh air just tell me."

Maya started to see black splotches before her eyes; she suddenly realized that she almost completely stopped breathing. Ack! No! She felt a tug from whom she'd have to assume was Franziska, and barely could understand what she was saying. Something about going toward fresh air. That sounded good to her.
Maya felt herself stumble along the way while Franziska's death grip on her wrist steadily carried her towards—somewhere. Maya couldn't even grasp the concept of the office's interior anymore; her mind was fuzzy.

As she stumbled along with Franziska, she saw a sudden blur of red—Apollo, maybe—but she couldn't figure out what he was doing.
Finally, before darkness totally eclipsed her vision, Maya felt a sudden cool breeze—and she could breathe again.

"Thank... you... Franziska..." Maya panted, taking in gulps of air at a time. However, she began to feel light-headed. Slow breathing, Maya... don't you dare hypervenilate! She gripped the ledge to steady herself, hoping the feeling would pass.

Apollo only coughed a little, he had been around other people who had smoked weed in collage, and he was almost used to the scent of it. Still half tending to his arm, he looked up and saw that Franziska was still there...... and so was Klavier and Maya Fey, and it looked like she had passed out from the smell.

He stood up and approached her. "..Are you going to be alright?" he asked her. He looked back at Kristoph and Phoenix, 'Idiots... there's people like her that can't stand the smell....'

((Alright since you asked~))

Franziska swiftly moved around the corridors, attempting to escape the dreaded smell. Maya looked like she could barely breath and that didn't make her feel exactly too good. It reminded her of Papa whenever her little brother wouldn't get at least 100% on his tests. Anything below perfection is absolutely nothing, Papa would tell him. He didn't treat her as roughly because she wasn't meant to be the heir to the Karma dynasty of prosecutors.

Along the way towards the closest window she caught a quick view across the corridors of the four men sitting down in one spot by the wall where they were before. Kristoph, Phoenix and Apollo were sitting together while Klavier seemed to be panicking.

She stopped for a second, wanting to go over there and just snatch away their drugs, but knew that even if she did so it wouldn't stop the chemicals in the air from affecting Maya like they already had. The robed girl appeared to be in bad condition, as if she were ready to have a panic attack from the lack of oxygen. So without a word she continued to pull Maya towards the end of the corridor, an open window in sight.

As Maya clutched onto the small ledge attached to the window Franziska crossed her arms and stood next to the acolyte, standing by to make sure she was there if Maya were to fall. "Do not mention it, Maya Fey," she paused, smirking lightly, "and I mean it. If this caught wind to anybody, especially my little brother, I fear that I will never hear the end of it until I leave again for Germany." She joked, hoping to lighten the mood around the disgruntled girl.

Her eyes then turned to Apollo and huffed. "She should be fine soon. No thanks to Kristoph Gavin and Phoenix Wright."
