Hey everybody, I don't really post here ever but um...well...here I am

Image

An OC named Jean Paul George. This sprite has colors from sprites of Meekins, Lana, Edgeworth and Kristoph. His design is somewhat inspired by Shinji Hriako from Bleach.
I had drawn his design a couple times but the sprite itself was created pretty last minute yesterday for the OC contest. I'm not terribly proud of it but oh well. C + C appreciated.

nice sprite ya got there. :godot:

the only thing i can really say is work on the outlines...there jaged, this is mainly due to a lack of blending between the outline and the inner color so just add a color between the color of your outline and the color of the other part inbetween them where needed (experiment or take a look at other sprites to see what works best).

another thing just curious...are you using a black outline? if so change it you should never use 100% black.

now for the hard to explain part :payne:
for the hair it also has to do with the outline...though for slightly different reasons...look at your hairs outline (pacifically on the skin) does it seem odd? well if you do this is mostly because it seems two detached from the head...concider the fact that hair isnt one solid object but many...as such it lightly (but not smoothly blends) what you can do? well one try to lighten or remove the outline and also try to mess with it to seem less non-organic
(right now it ends up looking like a helmet)

the only other thing i can think of is shading maybe here or there.

anyways again good sprite and i hope this helps. :redd:
