I've been making up sprites (color changing and frankensteining, mostly) to be used in Mechabowser's Case Maker 2.0, but I haven't been able to make the gifs from the sprites successfully. The trouble I have is that when I paste the sprite (from MS paint) I made into the animation program (Jasc Animation Shop), the sprite has it's white background with it. I'm not sure how to clear the white background from the sprite in the animation frame.

Here's what the Animation Shop frame looks like with the sprite I made copied into it, which has the white background (only has one frame cause I'm just trying to solve this problem ATM):



Here's a sprite animation that I examined in Animation Shop that was taken from http://deufeufeu.free.fr/anims/animpw1.html, which has many PW gifs that work in the Case Maker. There's no white background behind the sprites in each frame, but that might not be the only difference I need to solve before I get my sprites to work...:

I use the same exact program for animations!

To get rid of the white background, just click on the fill tool, and check the box by: To Canvas Color. It doesn't matter which color you have selected, it will make it transparent.
