Post subject:  Ace Attorney Fan Game FIXED
I am a amateur game creator/sprite artist and have been working on a Phoenix Wright Game.
Presently I am stuck on which Prosecutor I should use for the Case I'm releasing to the public as a Demo.

So I figured as there were so many talented sprite artists work here, why not start a competition.

Here are the rules:

I am after only one Prosecutor, This character can have any style, personality, gender you choose.

If you choose to submit work... IT must be your own, other peoples sprites do not count.

All creations that are chosen will still be the property of you

The Winner will be credited in the game and also allowed some creative control.

Please feel free to write their biographies if your posting your work... and if your just browsing feel free to comment on your favourites.

I really would appreciate your involvement as ultimately I'm making this game for the Fans and the community.

one sprite only just for now
saying that if the winning characters' creator wanted to make a sheet then thats fine.
If making a sheet isnt really your thing you can still take part by giving your input into the sprites we do make.

Btw the attorney you will be facing is none other than Phoenix so please no EVIL Nick thats the only limitation as far as character creation goes.

I have here Nathaniel Hatchet which is in my sprite edits thread. I don't know if you want to use him seeing as you said no evil Phoenix and his face is the same as Phoenix with different hair and eyes though. I could make a full sheet, but it might take days honestly with all the other stuff I gotta do... like homework... Yuusaku

I really like it, I see that as a worthy sprite edit.
Evil Phoenix sprite would just be Nick with a different pallete and pixel red dots for eyes.
Whats your characters Bio?

Thanks! To be honest, I haven't exactly put to much thought into it... but here's what I got so far and the only thing I'm really set on is his name and age. I really don't mind if you want to change or tweak up anything in his family, personality, style, or background. In fact, I would be kinda curious on how you would percieve him to be. Odoroki

Name: Nathaniel Hatchet (Hatchet as in chop you down and Nathaniel just to give it a ring)
Age: 33
Family: Unknown
Background: Grew up as a true patriot in the living in the woods of Massachusetts. One day he got tired of seeing all these city slickin' attorneys winning their cases, abusing the justice system, and ruining the USA so he spontaniously pioneered to what he thought to be the heart of the problem: Los Angeles. (no sappy story)
Personality: Usually relaxed and non-chalant throughout the trial and likes to poke fun at people a bit in a cynical or sarcastic way.
Style: Doesn't forge evidence, but sometimes he does sometimes make honest mistakes (he's not von Karma perfect) and mans up to it. He really doesn't try to counter the defense at every chance he's got, but he'd rather wait for his big chance to fully counter all of the defense's arguments (basically when you think you're safeand in the clear, you really aren't).

Officer Vicky would be perfect for the Gumshoe case as a witness.

Your more than welcome to submit any characters you desire but....
This competition is strickly for Prosecutors to be seen in the Demo release.
Saying that I am always looking for fresh Designs like Vicky to add into this game.

OBJECTION!

Seems more sense to stop this competition and wait next week for CR's comp.
I really want to thank Officer V.C and Apeman1813 for their submissions.
BTW V.C I wish your defense attorney would have a change of heart and become a prosecutor Hobohodo

As soon as I have a demo near to release I'll post a new topic with details of the new game.
So get your artistic talents in check for CR's contest next week!

Hold it!

Shouldn't we wait since this contest is indeed as said before on hold? After all, Apeman and I were the only ones who had a chance to participate, and I'm sure somebody out there has some great stuff that can heat up competition to submit too once this contest actually goes underway. Matt

I agreed for waiting a bit for new submissions so it's actually a competition and not just VC kicking my butt lol.

EDIT: Longwood as a prosecutor (I took out his badge and flipped him basically)

Yeah Game Maker Nothing Fancy.
So far its been a pleasure to work with I've almost finished my "investigation" system.
I got a demo on the works with Detective Gumshoe Guiding you through the game demo.
You'll be able to ask him questions and present him with profiles etc... to learn more about
what I have planned.

Since I've got another project at top priority moment, I have a texting engine with adjustable speed and pauses at the moment, and not much else.

But I've got everything slowly building up in my head like syntax and stuff.

The above link is a small video I made about 2 weeks ago.
Its a very beta demonstration.
Big changes have happened since then to do with Characters, time period, storylines.
I have decided to make a game based around Justice For All time period, starring a whole new cast of defense and prosecutors.

More information as soon as I have reworked the demo.
