I'm very bad with titles, but well until I come up with something better this is it.

I have this idea for my own case floating around in my mind and for that I need Apollo facing towards the player. Here are my attempts at accomplishing that. Most will be based off of his courtroom expressions but some will be my own creations. Enjoy but please don't use them for anything without my permission, please?...

Resized HD Sprites
After seeing this topic I thought I should give it a try.
These sprites are resized HD sprites to AJ sprite size with the color palette used in the first three Ace Attorney games.
These are in need of polishing and the timing is the same as the HD sprites on Court-Records.net. You may use them if you credit me in your work. You don't need to ask for my permission.

As you can see, Franziskas sprites are in need of a longer torso and some color improvement is necessary as well.
But these are only minor changes in comparison to what I believed was to redraw an entire sprite sheet from scratch.
All of these sprites are taken from Court Records. I simply resized them and changed the color palette.
(And I guess you could use them for a fancase already without those edits being made... )

Hey, cool. These are really neat, you've really captured the expressiveness of the bench sprites, which is kind of tough for front sprites. Nice.

All your work looks great though, the Apollo is crisp and proper and your originals are very imaginative.

Shae a little bit more insecure. This is her default. I'm currently working on her shocked one as well as on another expression of her sister.

Btw does anyone know if it's ok to edit my contest entry post? Or is that not permitted?

Made from his AJ Sprites. I made him wear his DD outfit and changed his face a little bit. The animation is barely a test, for his sprites still need some polishing, but I wanted to see them in motion before going into to much detail. Don't use them for anything, please.

Not yet animated because not yet finished... I just wanted to show what I've been up to these past days.
However, Phoenix wasn't the only one I was working on, he is the only one I was able to finish... kind of... ahahaha... :basil:

I'm still trying to get his face right in the one where he puts his hand behind his head and in the laughing one, but I'm actually happy how the shocked one turned out :trucy:

One problem I have with all of my DD Phoenix sprites is that I think he looks too young in all of them. However, I haven't found a way to make him look just a little older without screwing up his entire face. :ron:

I think these all look great so far though! I'm looking forward to the complete set :edgey:
I guess to make him look older, a more defined chin (little bit more sharp edges), eyes less open (The older characters in anime drawings get, the less wide open their eyes are.) and more defined lines between the nose and the inner side of the eye.(Which you've already added.)

That looks really good, Photoshop had some issues with picking the right colors for Franziska so I never really bothered with her. So, I assume you picked the colors yourself?

I just took one of her smaller sprites from CR and saved the palette. Then I resized the HD sprites and the only thing I had to do afterwards was to load the saved palette. The result is what you see above. :pearl:

Well, after a long while I finally have something to post here again.
This time I tried my hand at location art... I just took Mias office from the second case of Ace Attorney and cleaned it up and now it's day time. Whoop!
I guess it could also be used as Phoenix Office but the closeup in the game suggests that he moved the desk to the window after Mias death...but, who cares?

It's just an edit of the office background from the first game. So it's an AA background.
On the court records site the original is listed as 'Night Crime Scene' under 'Locations' If you want to compare the two.

Wow, now I'm confused of using which Front Phoenix's Sprite I should use- This "3D" 128-colored type/looking one Vaenarys made? Or the one Sligneris has made which looks normal and 32-bits? Wow. Confusing.

That Pearly sprite looks legit, but... Is this just me, but isn't your agility too high? I mean. You're posting and creating sprites within minutes! How is that even possible!? :maya-shock:
