A mild coma?
Or being worked on?
Well, lately I began working on it again.
And I finally decided on the final design.
It's not AA styled nor Kenji styled.
A bit of a hybrid with classic adventure game thrown in.
So here is the first official screen shot of a little tech demo I'm working on.
And yes, That's a scrollable background. ^-^

The thing is this demo is being made in ASstudio 3.0 , afterwards I'll send it to both Saluk and KSA.
In hopes one of them can replicate the engine somewhat. (should they choose to accept ; that is)
So, too early to tell at the moment.

@Lind: What the hell? I haven't even played Gk, so no, apart from using the mini sprites as a starting point, the rest is pretty much custom. (train station background excluded ofcourse)
@Bob: I know what you mean, but the thing is, 2 sentences should suffice, for longer dialogue scenes one could always click the little arrow there.
Besides, the only time this will appear is during investigation phases.
Normal court phases have the standard layout.( which is more dialogue heavy i think :p )
But know that I think about it, I might swap the arrow-area with the textbox-area, Hmm, that might work.

It's neither AAI or AA style rather your own design and it looks fantastic!Though I'm wondering does this mean that some of the big sprites won't be used if it's just going to be a small 'evidence box' window the characters talk in?
