EDIT: http://sdb.drshnaps.com/images/BGs/DGrayMan.png Has some nice things that might work if you're willing to do some light editing. I go through http://sdb.drshnaps.com/BackgroundsOther.htm for my backgrounds. The SNES and Genisis are good to look through too. I'd avoid the GBA one since the screen size is too small for DS comic panels.

And since this little place is visible again I might as well let Iris know that I just can't get the sprite to work to my satisfaction with her as a forensics scientist, but I'll totally work on the civilian one some more. It might not be half bad when I can get it proportioned.
