Man, It's been a while!
I felt like going back to spriting after playing the Professor Layton Saga, it's pretty awesome
Maybe my next updates will be Layton-Related, I was thinking of making a Layton Sprite in the witness' stand, maybe Luke, and even... Chelmey.

I especially like the Lana one. Is there any chance you might make a full set of them? That's the best Lana sprite I've seen which is not an irritatingly obvious Mia edit.

It makes me glad you appreciate the sprites, but like Mary said, I don't take requests anymore. And this thread has been dead for over a year! Maaan I feel old.
I hadn't been spriting because I was being REALLY lazy, plus the things I do now aren't really PW related.

Ah, I understand what you mean now.
I had the same problem when I started spriting, I used the Photoshop brushes to draw some of the sprite's features. Although it does look nicer, it affects the sprite when you're going to animate, giving it those white borders.
Here's an example of an early sprite animation. I loved using the brush, but it ended up damaging the sprite.
Those white borders are part of the brush's stroke, those semi-transparent pixels that give out a "smooth" effect.
Zinle helped me to fix this issue. He explained that I should work with palettes, at first I didnt understand, but I did after a while.
I hope he doesn't mind me quoting him.

Again, I didnt understand, but when you use the brush, it actually uses a lot of colors.

Only 10 colors were used, and it looks okay enough IMO
So, like Zinle said, I suggest working with palettes. Use pencil tool for spriting, Pencil Eraser when erasing.
At first it really sounds tedious, I felt like that when Zinle told me, and I have to admit I even got angry, but working with palettes and pencil tool really pays off.

I never understood why, even though it LOOKED pencil drawn to me, it wasn't.
I did notice that even when using the brush I'd have to like, erase the shadow it sometimes makes around the edge.
I never knew how to fix that and using the pencil tool just did not cross my mind xD
Probably because I have never actually used the pencil tool before. ;;
But that really helps! Thanks so much! Now I don't have to be mad at my work looking non ace attorney like. xD

But yeah, like Cold already stated, the only thing it really/barely needs any work is with the beard in the normal pose.
And that's like a job of two to five pixel edits, so no biggies there.

About the permission, I am afraid I will have to say no.
It can be considered rude to ask for permission but at the same time already using them, but I understand that it's your first time posting and you meant no harm.
As an advice, you should always ask for permission to use someone's sprites unless it's stated otherwise.
