I don't mean to be pessimistic, but if you want new characters that look like they are from the game, you might have to ask someone who does this proffesionally, or change an existing sprite.
Since everyone has his/her own style of art, making it look AA style might be a tad difficult.
Well, I started on the video. It's a ROUGH DRAFT, and UNFINISHED, so please don't comment on it like that. I intend to make the letters more readable and have the transitions a little smoother (and yes I realized that there is too much maya in the Attorney Phoenix section of the trailer. I'll change that.)

As you can see, The first part goes through the sections of Phoenix's life. Then, you go through the character profiles of Phoenix, Godot, and Franziska. After that, there are a few screenshots of witness and locations, and then phoenix getting blasted into the past, and the slow mo action of the button falling onto the floor with the shadow of Kristoph reflected on it. Then it shows the boxart with an evil Kristoph-like laugh. THen it ends with Phoenix saying, "The past is ready for you. You just have to turn it on."
