Yeah, I'm trying to think of a reason why Kyouya would give Nouta his jacket. Kyouya obviously likes the kid, so he's gotta do something nice for
. Kyouya probably wouldn't like him if he lied (because you know, you have to find contradictions somewhere). Maybe it could like Ema, where she thought she saw something, but it was actually wasn't. Although, It's hard to mistake someone for Kyouya (Except for his brother

I agree that something would happen at a concert to get Kyouya on the witness stand, and Nouta would have to testify as a witness. He'd accidentally remember wrong and mess things up for defense, but he would say one crucial thing that would let the defense turn everything around. After the trial, he would apologize for making things worse during the trial (use his sad sprites here! x3), but Kyouya would tell Nouta that he actually helped turn around the trial. (hahaha, I've got good and bad endings imagined if this was a real case: good ending, defense presents the right evidence, Nouta blushes and says that he didn't do much. Kyouya says that he helped out a lot and gives him the jacket as thanks. Bad ending, wrong evidence, Nouta feels bad and Kyouya gives him the jacket so he'll feel better.)

Well, what about someone planning it to be a blackout at the concert hall? And Nouta would go and look for some kind of lightsource. He finds a flashlight or something and once he turns it on he sees someone wearing Kyouya's clothes and a wig that looks like Kyo's hair MURDARANG someone. Nouta doesn't see the man's face clearly and he thinks it is Kyouya etc. etc.
I know it has a lot of holes in it, but I'm still working on it ^^

If I read this thread correctly, you're looking for some fan characters for a fan case, right?
I'm about to finish up to concept art for my fan defence attorney and his assistant and put them up on my Deviantart. I'd make the sprites, but my PW sprite skills aren't as good as I'd like them to be.

Yeah, Judial does work as an Aide. However, she can work as a witness (she has this weirdo habit of being at the right place but the wrong time!) and because of her psychometry, she can work out to be a powerful investigative helper.
Judial can do lots of things, so don't feel obligated to stick her to some lawyer dude's side. You can leave that to someone who they're usually with (if that applies).

As for her role in this case, If we can find a nice Attorney/Aide pair, then Judial will be something else other than aide....she would make a cool detective with her psychometry....I think at least

Ahhh, So, I'm guessing Detective isn't the best, but it could work >_> She just wouldn't hold murder weapons and such. She could be like...the secondary detcetive...she doesn't have to be a detechtive at all! Maybe they could go to her for helpful hints and such. Like this?

" and everyone would go along with it, but I doubt that would happen if only because she'd never say that.Actually, that's exactly how she functions as a legal aide - the attourney presents her some evidence and asks her what to look for, and she'll do her best to respond.

A somewhat calm but easily annoyed girl, picked on from a young age for being quite tall for her somewhat slender stature. She is also a small time cosplayer, being known only by the few who bother to visit her blog. When she first comes in for her testimony, she acts sweet and somewhat flattering to the lawers, who equally find her quite attractive in the flowy dress she is wearing (Aeris complex anyone?). Upon leaving the court for recess though, [insert aide here] pipes up about how pshyked (sp?) she/he is to see her at long last, "Her blog is awful, but she's a great cosplayer...but...something's odd."
"Odd?"
"From all her photos, she seems like a bit of a tomboy. She's always pictured wearing baggy guy's clothes."
"Proberbly to make her look less skinny."
"Actually that's kinda why she stopped being a cosplayer, many people have commented that she's too skinny for the majority of volumptious girl characters these days."
It turns out she never gave up cosplaying. She planned to make a comeback dressed as Kyouya (at his concert), a cosplay so good that (with a nice big pair of sunglasses), many could be fooled. It was her best cosplay yet, but she didn't post about it on her blog so people wouldn't be expecting her (despite her blog hits are below the 50s, she still believes she has alot of fans). I can't come up with a decent reason for murder yet, but one vital peice of evidence is uncovered by...Panya...and she's wearing it. She randomly pops out of nowhere wearing this "awsome wig" she found (her pigtails are still on show though poking out from under the wig). She's wearing it wrong so it doesn't look like Kyouya's hair at first, it's only when [aide] sees Panya's shadow from a certain angle, that everything starts falling into place.
And blah. >.> That's all I can come up with right now.
EDIT: Oh, and yeah, the main twist is that the cosplayer is a girl.

Now, we need more evidence, like bloodied clothes or Kyo's fingerprints on the murder weapon.
Let's say that the real murderer, after commiting the crime planted the knife (Yeah, let's say knife for now :P) in Kyouya's bag. Before the police arrives, Kyouya needs to get something from his bag and coincidentaly grabs the knife, with his full hand. It's not the shape of whatever he's looking for, so he just lets go of it, not really caring about what it is.
The rest is self explanatory. The police comes, searches through the place and finds the knife in Kyouya's bag. And well, they test it for fingerprints and they found Kyouya's (Oh noes).
And now I gotta log. Byez.

Am I the only one who would find it hilarious to have the murder weapon be a guitar?
The handle breaks off and that's the only peice found, and for a long time everyone assumes it's Kyouya's until it is proven that it actually belongs to another one of the band's guitars.A few problems with the above, however:
*I'm not sure whether or not different guitars have the same handle. Maybe because they're the same band, but I doubt it.
*The 'B-flat tuba' problem - 'Kyouya' could use any old guitar to do the killing.
This is me being silly, of course.

I like the whole idea of "pyrotechnics gone bad" (Knifes have been overused >_>) But we could just replace "Knife" with "Murder weapon Y" and it still works out :3 We definalty need a way the person was murdered.....Now, we need more evidence, like bloodied clothes or Kyo's fingerprints on the murder weapon.

XDDD I just though of the Emo Rangers and the Axe Guitar! XDDD. We could still use the guitar as a murder weapon. His guitar would be the weapon, which would be specially made for him or something >_>. It could be right before the concert, (Thus nautrally, one would think Kyouya would have his guitar with him, tuning it or something >__>), and Kyouya couldn't find his guitar (Someone's getting murdered with it somehow O.o. In the spur of the moment, the Cosplayer took the guitar because it was laying there. This is what Nouta sees and runs away to tell someone). He remembers where he put it (the crime scene) and finds the body (and his Guitar)! Police burst in, arrest him, and the case starts.
