First of all, what format are you saving your sprites in? I'm not an expert, put it looks a little grainy. PNG is the best format to save in. ![]() I like the Ini Miney recolour - I can't do blonde hair, although I've tried. The Emo Matt Engarde is cool, although you might want to make him look sad. Animation isn't necessary for sprites; also, in the 'Need to know how to make sprites' thread there are very helpful tips on Frankensteining and other ways of changing sprites. Good luck for future sprites!

Jamontoast wrote: Hey. Im not rly good at understanding the whole animation of the sprites and I don't have the right programs on my computer to do it so I decided to just recolour some sprites using paint. I also can't seem to get rid of the white background. Give me your thoughts? Spoiler: My Recolours I am working on one of Dahlia and I did one of Edgeworth but it just turned out horrible! ANyway, Leave comments. :D If you did these only using Paint, their amazing! Great Work. I recommend downloading a software named Paint.Net; It is the powerful cousin of Paint, and it's free. As for the white background, it can be fixed with Paint.Net by using its Magic Wand feature. Also, you need to save the pictures on png. not jpeg.; Jpeg has awful quality. Follow these guidelines, and you can become an amazing spriter! |

Good recolours but PLEASE no jpg's ;___; Save as png from now on and you'll be fine! (basically what these guys are saying). Oh and aswell as Paint.net you can make them transparent with GIMP. But whatever, they're both free. |

A very good start! You are good at recolouring! (I fail at it) Can't wait to see any OC's if there is any. |

Sweet recolors, you're getting the hang of it. The gumshoe is a bit too light for me though. |
