Hey guys!

Really quick, if the thread's title is leaving you confused, you can go here to read what I'm talking about: THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE

So, recent rumors are casting doubt on whether or not we'll get a GS5 at all. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed, but in the meantime, those of us behind the infamous Gant theory have decided to put our wonky heads together and make a fangame of our own! We have the writers, composers, and programmers. All we need are a few good spriters!

If you're a good spriter and would like in on the insanity, just drop a line. I'll update this thread with our current required sprites. As it's written by us, several almost-sensical, tongue-in-cheek twists and turns are to be expected!

Currently designing the prosecutor, The Courtroom Butterfly. It is said she can take any case, no matter how dire, and put it through a metamorphosis. But no one knows her true intentions...

As much as I love the idea building on the "Gant is Apollo's father" theory, I feel you need to give us something a bit more certain to work with. Another thing that should be stressed is, "Do we actually need a new original character for this role?" You want us to make a new prosecutor yet you really haven't provided a good reason not to use Gavin or any other prosecutor. It would save us a significant amount of time if we could conveniently tie in already existing characters and make new characters only for those deeply tied to the case itself.

If possible send me a script (spoiler version) so I can grasp a concept of what I would be working with. To be honest, I doubt I would ever play a fan game, but it might fun to have a hand in creating one. Granted, this is based on that if you guys actually have things put together fairly well.

We actually have this ALL planned out, story-wise. And no, it has nothing to do with the Gant is Apollo's father theory (or does it? WHO KNOWS?).

I didn't put too many details in the interest of preventing spoilers. I would like anyone who plays it (however few people actually may play it) to be surprised.

Yes, there is a plot-relevant reason why Klavier is not the current prosecutor and why this new prosecutor wants to get at Apollo specifically. I don't know about sending out spoiler scripts left and right though. That's how things get leaked. ;)

If you're interested in spriting, that's fantastic! We'd be thrilled to have you. Do you have any samples of your work we can see? We're looking to make several NEW characters, which means not just splicing existing AA sprites.

Alright, how about this? Look at some of the work I've done (my sprite topic link in my sig) and if you think it's notable that you would want my help with making sprites you need to send me a script. I'll be absolutely honest with you, my original characters were made by splicing bits and pieces between different characters; however, I will note that I've got experience in working on huge sprite sheets. Also, concept art is always helpful for making a base for poses and making it into a sprite.

I wish I could give you a script. Unfortunately, I'm more the creative force than the organizational force. I don't have all the materials gathered up. I just send my parts in.

However, I could maybe whip up a basic summary. But again, in the interest of preserving the twists, I'd need to have something to show the other team members of your work for them to approve. ^^; We do everything as a team, and we do need more than just spliced sprites.

As a member of said team, I'm going to agree with Pleady. We're rather proud of the plot that's been come up for this little party, and we'd like to keep spoilers as minimal as possible... Though hey, show us what'cha got if you feel so inclined :keiko:
