My eyesight isn't too great, is that an earpiece in his ear? If it is, that's pretty cool.
The contrast between the two shades of black in the suit (not the outline colour) isn't high enough to make two shades a necessity. Either pick one shade and colour the entire suit in that colour, or increase the contrast between them. My advice would actually be to lighten both shades because black is never fully black because full black doesn't hold shadows - just look at LeTouse's sprites and how his black suit is more grey, for example.
The shading beneath the chin is clever, because it changes the appearance of the original neck, but you'll need to extend the shadow on the collar - if you look at Phoenix, the shading forms a line because of his head. The lineart isn't very crisp, but that's passable. But because the blending shade was recoloured all at once, the outline of the shadow from his head onto the suit is there when it shouldn't be - it's not supposed to be an actual line.
I think he looks pretty original for a frankensprited character. You could probably run with what's there.
