Hello there! I wanna share my sprites with you, so I can have some advice to improve my spriting. I wanna make sprites for my fangame, Kevin Powers: Ace Attorney, so I wanna make them as well as possible. Hope you like them. And, btw, you can use them if you want, just be sure to give credit and PM me so I can see your work! But, please, do not edit them.

Hey. Welcome.

From a technical standpoint, they're pretty nice. They look properly recoloured and shaded, so that's pretty good since that's what people will notice first. (Other than the fact that it's basically Apollo with Klavier's hair.)

This pose in particular is pretty interesting, since the far arm is replaced. From an artist's perspective though, this does create problems with the rest of the sprite in that he's now leaning forward while his arm is back. Maybe it looks better with the bench. It is passable, he'd be balanced if his legs were wide apart, but it is a bit uncomfortable. Is there another torso that could be used here?

Question: Is he right or left-handed?

Well, the eyes are Nick's and the nose is Klavier's, too. But I know that torso is obviously Justice's xD, but I like that outfit. I guess I could try another pose for his ''Normal'' animation.
He's right-handed, btw.

These are really well made edits! You did a good job neatly recolouring the sprite parts you used! (That's something I notice a lot of people do poorly first off)

I think with the standard pose, he looks too hunched forward. In Apollo's standard pose, he's resting his hand on the bench, so his weight would be put there, hence him slouching slightly. But with both arms down, you'd need to straighten his posture a bit.
Spoiler: Apollo's sprites
Notice how in his standard pose, he's back is bent a little:

Then when not resting his hand on the bench, his back straightens up.

Hmm... Yeah, I think I'll try to make a pose like Edgeworth's or Payne's, straight with his arms down. I'll post it when I get satisfied with the result. Thanks for the feedback :edgey:

Okay, so it didn't take as much as I expected. I'm not too sure about the shadowing, but here it is.

Comparing it with the other sprites, it seems to me that the shadowing is ok. However, it seems odd to me.
