haha, thanks! I can't wait to see Adriana when you've finished spriting her!
If you want to animate your sprites, I probably shouldn't do it for you, but if you're on windows I used to use a program called "Beneton Movie GIF". just copy and paste the frames all at 256x192 size with a background colour different to any in your sprite pallete and you can quickly make your sprites into animations!

If anyone would've entered what would you've done? I was tempted to do a Meiji styled character, but I was worried I'd not have any inspiration and the design would look weird XD

Somehow XD It was a real time crunch at the end, heh. Had to cut back on that animation when I went to lining unfortunately. You and Hessel have such a big variety and Used the time really well.
And yeah, a bunch of newcomers there. Hopefully some of them stick around...lots of nice stuff XD Good luck to everyone!
