| Post subject: | My First Shot At Sprite Editing! |
I've always wanted to try to do sprite editing so this is my first shot at it! Since I'm new to this I just did something simple! Pearl in a different hairstyle!  Sorry, I know it looks weird but this is my first time doing this (By "it" I mean the image, it has a big white background and the sprite is just there...  ). If someone can help me, that'd be great!EDIT: And just so you know, i got the 2 ponytails (or pigtails, however you call it) from GS4's Ema Skye. |

But, it took me a lot of tries to make it right (i dunno, like 5 tries?), but it worked out well! I've been working on it ever since like 5:00 or 6:00 (P.M. as in "in the evening" so don't freak out!) but really, it is simple! |

You can use Gimp, I haven't tried it yet, but it probably has a 'crop' tool you can make images smaller with. Or, if you use paint, you can move the image into the corner with the 'select' tool, then drag the corner of the whole image in. Paint can be used really well if you know it well enough.Example, Tajiri Ami's sprites, all she uses is paint,and she uses it really well.A lot of really good sprite edits are made with Gimp too.Although,I can't figure out how to download it.
