Well, I've gotten a pretty good reaction on my avatar, so I decided to make a topic for my sprites.

By the way, most of my sprites are done from scratch, but I reference the game's sprites to understand the AA "style".

Right now, I only have one, but it's animated~ Please give me tips on what you think I can improve!

Edit 3-25-08: I edited her suit a bit and added pockets.

This is my original character, Lorelei Drake. She's a prosecutor, age 35 as of AJ. I referenced Klavier, Kristoph and Ema to try to get her looking right.

Update 3-28-08: Random Klavier Edit. I was bored, so I changed some things up mainly with photoshop layer effects, because this sprite is so complex. This is what I think Klavier's hair color should be, instead of that weird... yellow...

It kinda reminds me of the different colored outfits you can pick in Super Smash Bros.

...I wish Klavier was in Brawl now. XD

I like it. It's a really neat, interesting design. She looks stern, yet cool, and I like that. The outfit could use a bit more detail, but it's an excellent start. I may ask you for tips if I keep making my sprites, lol.

Do you use a tablet at all? :O All I have is my mouse. T_T

I do have a tablet, but I don't use it for spriting. It's much harder to hold a tablet pen steady than a mouse when you're trying to place specific pixels. D:

That's amazing. *A* I've tried making new outfits on sprites before, but they never came out as good as yours did.

Well, I sketched it out on paper first and scanned it into photoshop. Then I resized it and put it on the bottom layer and traced the basic outlines, editing as I went along.

It helped a lot, considering that I'm better with drawing on paper than on the computer, especially without any sort of guidelines and zoomed in so much. :scientific:

I am planning on doing more poses for her, too, I assure you.

I added new glasses to my sprite over at my thread. They're not the best, but. it's a start. Also added another pose.
