Welcome to my sprite thread! I am a noobie spriter, but am improving as I go along. Pretty busy these days, but am managing to sprite a little bit. I take requests, but as you can see, I'm not so good. I do chaos and normal sprites. Please don't hesitate to ask!
Currently: Bored and revaming ENTIRE phoenix sheet. Long and boring. What I am good at.
Please reply. Any other CS3 users who can offer some tips?

And if you're having problems with your imagehost, use another one. I use either Tinypic or Photobucket. Flickr is better for...static photography

, and figured that Phoenix Wright would be an amazing place to learn!My first sprite is Detective Gumshoe without his coat. A brief talking animation that really sucks.
I am aware of the strange shadows on his collar. The flashy white things were the fault of my image hoster.Eventually, I wish to create a full spritesheet for this and then move on to Police officer Gumshoe. Stay tuned!
if your having problems using your current image hoster might i suggest image shack...
now about the sprite its a start...but try slowing down the animation abit, and the collar (as you said you knowticed) just has one or 2 sprites that needs ajusting...but its the bright line around gumshoes hair that looks wrong so probably change that

Second: Try copy pasting only his mout area.
Then try animating it.

(Don't do the animation where Gumshoe is breathing heavily. Though, it is your choice.)
Then, only move his mouth instead of his whole head.
Then go ahead and animate.

BUt he is right.
Just do the mouth first, and keep the same body.
So it doesn't move.

Magic wand = bad for spriting.
I know its so useful and its so handy but trust me it can also be a pain in the ass
