"Polly and the Bomb" is my favourite, hands-down. It's so abstract, so emotional, with such excellent disregard for character models and amazing typesetting. That vaguely obscure mushroom cloud broccoli tree is so avant-garde! And including such expressive animation somehow lifts the picture's "quality" level by miles.
I think Phoenix's expressions in "Contradiction" aren't exaggerated enough, and the change in panel 3 isn't dramatic or different enough to base the joke on. The use of bold/underline/a billion exclamation marks is great, but the words could have had more impact if made, say, size 72.
