Come on, you did it so well that I'm alomost filled with envy XD Obviously you are strongly influenced by the American cartoon drawing style which I'm not really famillar with, but I still can see that you are very talented, absolutely.I haven't read your comic yet but took a quick glance(since my mom is watching me almost 24/7),it looks nice to me so far^-^
Zeth's design atttacted my eyes at first sightXD He looks like a mix of Gant and Godot to me(it might be a wrong impression because I hadn't read your fanfic yet, sorry if I was wrong), the post with Zeth holding a gun is just so cool.Thank you for creating such a great character.>w<

I've never 'officially' learnt to draw. I own a library of referance books that I learnt from, asked alot of questions, and spent many hours of dedication. I did take art in High school, but it was more about technique (Drawing abstract, maori figurines...), actually, it introduce alot of cool mediums for me, but it wasn't anything that particularly benefited me in art in any other way... IT was all pretty 'Lets pretend to be expert artists and fail' like to me >.>
The grey scale comment was that I wasn't good at toning cause it looked too much like grey scale XD Toning should be minimal- I'm nto too good at that yet ^^; IT's funny though, People heavily into Japanese art thinks my art looks american, but American fans think my art looks manga XD Insanity. Hybrid styles are hilarious :3
Funny you say that Zeth looks like Damon Gant and Godot- Damon is his Father in my story, and Godot was his mentor when Zeth was just about out of law school XD Lol. Coincidental :D They also happen to both be two of my most fav characters in the PW universe. Phoenix is in that top three too. Damon Gant was first for a long time before Godot kicked him down a peg XD Lol.

No- this one will be printed locally- one of the guys is a printer and is giving it to us at cost. I'm just finding out if he can handle onicroms :) I could print it on Lulu if it was a straight print on a one of basis, but I'm printing probably 50 copies. IT's cheaper this way :)

I'm not complaining about the contest- I'm just posting my observations- I gotta stop doing that T.T I'm stoked I made the short list :) There would’ve been a lot of entries to compete against! It’s the first time I’ve entered a contest so big (It’s kinda daunting to be honest… >.> )

There is alwasy a next year Oh- don't get me wrong! I'm not depressed! I know getting top 10 is great! I'm just self critical, and it comes across as moping- sorry ^^; I like to observe the trends. I'll do better next year. I'll make sure I cater better for the contest. I just assumed with this one since it was an OC contest, that just plain art would be enough, and it isn't. And nevermind the contests, I never win at them either - But with competition as hard as this (there are some stunningly good pieces in there, especially in the art section!), it's no wonder. I'll enter next year, but I'd be already insanely happy if I made it into the top 10! Be self-critical, but not too much :)

Some retones I'm working on for selling Turnabout attorney as a comic. A year ago, when I first drew these pages, I was very VERY sick, and couldn't think straight, so there's alot of change between the old version and this in two of them atleast :) Originally these were in colour

Thanks ^^ I really like drawing Gumshoe. He's an adorable character, and I've always been fond of him. I always found myself asked questions to Gumshoe in the game that made him happy just before I left talking to him, cause I always felt guilty leaving him with a sulk on his face. AHHH! Poor Gumshoe!! *snuggles*
Miles is so mean to him- I wonder if that's one of the reasons I grump about Miles alot XD Lol.

He needs to go back to drawing my childhood crush T.T He was so hot.
Um... I'm also a HUGE fan of Frank Cho His art is so cheeky ^^ Big breasted, but I get over that... I have a few other favs too, but I'll stop there :) The DBZ in my art hasn't fully left though which is why my art is still really hybrid >.> Um- that answer your question? ^^; Lol.

I don't regret it, even though the art style really DID kill my own style, It tought me NEVER to take another artist's style, even if you like it. That's why I refuse to draw Phoenix Wright character's in the game style art which annoys ALOT of people, but you know- I don't care now. I don't draw for the sake of drawing. I draw to make a piece of art. If they don't watch me cause they like my art style, then they're in for disappointment at some point. IT also got me into comic, and that comic created Chaos- the cat. It's a major player in my current comic 'Slayer's Game'. He's an awesome character :) He was made perfectly first time around XD

I personally went from totally cartoony (big fan of Donald Duck as a child) to kind of an anime/cartoon hybrid when I got introduced to anime and manga.

Haha, nice. XD I have a high prescription as well, so I feel your pain with thick lenses even when they're the "thin" kind. ^_^;; I usually wear contact lenses, but I like to wear my glasses every once in a while. ^_^

There's subtle differences, like Panel 1- Gumshoe's face is fixed up, Miles' hair isn't so huge, Readjusted Miles' head (omg- so much wrong T.T ) Panel 2- Gumshoe's face is fixed, Panel 3- fixed some lopsidedness in Gumshoe and Mile's hair.
It's not much of a difference if you casually look and don't compare to the old version. This is what it use to look like This'll stay up for a day. After that, I'm replacing it with the pretty version :)

Ah, I feel your pain, my friend. My right eye is -8.5 and my left is -8. So, I'm not that far off from you. ^_^;; But even without my glasses, I can at least tell shapes and such. Do you have astigmatism or something like that as well? O_o I don't... at least not yet. ^_^;; Haha. I'd love to get Lasik, but my eyes get worse nearly every year or 2. >_< Enough so that I'm NOT a good candidate for Lasik. >_<

Urgh, so many changes, and I didn't notice any of them at first..

Yeah- I stopped being able to wear wrap around glasses when I went past -7. That was a VERY sad day for me :( I LOVED my Bolle' sunglasses to pieces. The lenses were expensive, but I became light shy cause they blocked out so much light ^^
I'm not sure what I have, but it doesn't focus on the correct spot in my eye by like... 1/2 a degree. It means that if I'm without my glasses too long, I feel motion sick- we're talking an hour or two. Laser surgery might be able to fix that though- I donno. I'm waiting for my eyes to stop changing before I look into that :(
